The company held a special meeting to promote production management and economic control of the paper mill project under construction

On the morning of November 2, a special meeting on production management and economic control for the two paper mill projects under construction, Jiu Long Paper (Hubei) Co., Ltd. and (Dongguan) Co., Ltd., was held in Conference Room 4 on the fifth floor of the company building. Cui Yongzhi, the company's Party Committee vice secretary, vice chairman, and general manager; Lv Chunping, the chief economist; and heads of relevant functional departments and grassroots units attended the meeting. Yan Xueguang, member of the company's Party Committee and deputy general manager, presided over the meeting.

The company's Sixth Engineering Project Department is responsible for the construction of the Jiu Long Paper (Hubei) Co., Ltd. project, which has an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of pulp and 2.4 million tons of high-grade packaging paper, an integrated forest-pulp-paper project. The company's First Engineering Project Department is responsible for the construction of the Jiu Long Paper (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. raw material substitution and technological transformation project, including the installation of electromechanical instruments, equipment, and pipelines, non-standard fabrication and installation, and insulation installation for the wood fiber production section.

At the meeting, the managers of the First and Sixth Engineering Project Departments respectively introduced the basic overview of their respective projects. They also presented the progress of the two projects and subsequent plans from the perspectives of personnel, materials, machinery, subcontracting, economics, and technology, and reported on existing problems.

Regarding the reported problems, the leaders present offered constructive suggestions based on practical considerations, covering aspects such as personnel organization, bidding control, subcontracting planning, cost control, disposal of circulating materials, resource integration, progress, quality, and construction period.

Yan Xueguang emphasized: First, the project departments should reverse schedule the construction timeline, plan in advance, strictly adhere to the plan to complete the construction tasks, and ensure the smooth completion of the schedule milestones; second, strengthen project cost analysis, pay attention to the overall profitability of the project, and not dwell on the gains and losses of a specific professional area; third, the two participating units should achieve information sharing and resource sharing, and integrate the use of teams.

Cui Yongzhi requested: First, the project department should strengthen on-site organization and scheduling capabilities. Faced with the current situation of tight deadlines and heavy tasks, they should think outside the box, explore resources, and supplement on-site management personnel and subcontracting teams. Second, strengthen the control of project materials and mechanical equipment, make needs plans according to the actual project situation, standardize the use of materials and mechanical equipment, avoid unnecessary waste, and ensure the orderly progress of project construction. Third, attach importance to summarizing successful construction experience, promoting its application during project implementation, and efficiently promoting project construction. Fourth, strengthen the control of schedule milestones, re-solidify the construction schedule according to schedule requirements, reasonably divide construction milestones, and strictly follow the established goals to complete the construction tasks on schedule. Fifth, complete the construction tasks with high quality and high quantity, establish a good corporate image for the company, and lay the foundation for consolidating the existing paper mill market and opening up a larger market in the paper industry.
