Recently, the Xiangli Expressway Traffic Safety Section 3 project, constructed by the company's metal structure processing center, won the "First-Class Collective Merit Award for the Construction of the G0613 Xiangli Expressway Project in the National Expressway Network." Zheng Kaichao, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Trade Union, and person in charge of the Xiangli project at the metal structure processing center, was awarded "First-Class Merit." This honor not only represents the general contractor's full affirmation of the company's Xiangli project department's more than six years of hard work on the Xiangli project, but also embodies the care and support from leaders at all levels of the group and the company during the construction process, and the hard work of all cadres and employees.

In the construction of the Xiangli project traffic safety section 3, steel arch frame supply, toll station sheds, gas stations along the entire line, and pressure pipelines for bids 1-13, the project construction team, led by project manager Zheng Kaichao, has braved the storms and fought tirelessly on this land with sweat and wisdom. Through meticulous organization and strict management, they have forged a construction team with excellent construction organization and safety and quality management, and a team that dares to fight and win.

For more than six years, the project team has overcome numerous difficulties, including harsh environments, high altitude and hypoxia, short construction periods, frequent natural disasters, and complex geological conditions. With a work style of "handling matters without delay, seizing every moment," a work approach of "not waiting, not relying, and taking the initiative," and a spirit of "fearlessness and daring to struggle," the project has progressed smoothly. In the process of project implementation, in order to effectively implement the spirit of the general contractor's "full connectivity" engineering Xiangli Expressway project promotion meeting, the project department focused on the project's opening-to-traffic node goals, implemented and ensured the management of the Xiangli Expressway project, combined with the actual situation of the work area, actively carried out quality month activities, cultivated employees' quality awareness, and created a strong atmosphere of "everyone attaches importance to quality, everyone creates quality, everyone enjoys quality." Through pre-shift meetings and organized education and training, the overall quality awareness of all employees was comprehensively improved, ensuring a continuous increase in the quality of project production. In terms of project spirit unity, the project department strictly implemented the requirements of the group and the company, gave full play to the spirit of the plateau iron army, ensured that all project goals and tasks could be successfully completed on time, and at the same time, combined with the actual situation of the project site, actively carried out construction deployment, and strictly implemented the "four guarantees, one control, and one tree planting" target requirements, ensuring efficient project promotion and timely completion of various project goals and tasks while ensuring the quality and safety of the project.

It is understood that the Xiangli Expressway starts from Yisong Village, Shangri-La City, and passes through Xiaozhongdian, Tuoguan Village, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Songyuan Bridge, Xionggu to Baihanchang, connecting to the Dali Expressway via the Baihanchang interchange. It is 140.305 kilometers long, with 120 bridges, 26 tunnels, 6 interchanges, 3 service areas, 1 parking area, 6 toll stations, 1 management center, and 3 maintenance work areas. The bridge-tunnel ratio is as high as 55%, with an approved budget of 21.083 billion yuan. Since the Xiangli Expressway opened to traffic on September 29, 2021, it has ended the history of the local area without expressways.
