To improve the emergency response capabilities of project management personnel and on-site construction personnel to unexpected events, on the morning of August 22, the Second Engineering Project Department organized a drill on emergency response to electric shock injuries for the Qujing Dyeing Factory shanty town renovation project.

This drill simulated an on-site emergency response scenario where a worker, due to unauthorized operation, was performing wiring on a secondary distribution box switch and suffered an electric shock, resulting in unconsciousness.

At the start of the drill, on-site inspection personnel discovered the unconscious worker and immediately cut off the power. After a preliminary check of the injured person's condition, they immediately reported to the project manager. The project manager immediately announced the activation of the emergency plan and organized emergency personnel to carry out rescue work according to the plan, simultaneously reporting the accident to the construction department's safety supervisor. After the emergency plan was activated, the on-site security team carried out initial warning and protection, and the emergency rescue team immediately performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. After the injured person regained consciousness, they were promptly sent to a nearby hospital for examination. The accident investigation team entered the site to investigate the accident and submit a report.

After the drill, all participants returned to the project department's meeting room. First, each participating group carefully analyzed and summarized the problems encountered during the drill and proposed improvement goals. Then, they studied "100 diagrams of temporary electrical hazards at construction sites, teaching you how to identify hazards," enhancing awareness of preventing electric shock and standardizing on-site electricity usage.

Through this drill, the project department's management personnel and on-site construction personnel gained an accurate understanding of the correct procedures and key points of electric shock emergency rescue, further enhancing employees' safety awareness and self-rescue capabilities.
