The company organized the "Open Class on Safety Production" and "Safety Publicity and Consultation Day" activities in 2021.

June this year marks the 20th National "Safety Production Month," with the theme of "Implementing Safety Responsibilities and Promoting Safe Development." On June 16th, the company organized the 2021 "Open Safety Production Class" and "Safety Publicity and Consultation Day" event in the third-floor auditorium. Company Party Committee member and chairman of the labor union, Gan Yong, and Deputy General Manager Yan Xueguang attended the event. Over 100 cadres and employees from various functional departments and grassroots units in Kunming participated, and the event was livestreamed via DingTalk.

The "open class" invited Fang Xueqing, a teacher from the Yunnan Emergency Management Center, to give a lecture on fire safety knowledge entitled "Cherishing Life, Staying Away from Fires" for company cadres and employees. Teacher Fang led everyone in reviewing four major accident cases that occurred over two days, June 12th-13th, this year, allowing everyone to deeply understand the fragility of life and the importance of fire safety. Focusing on common fire cases in daily life, Teacher Fang provided a detailed analysis of potential fire hazards in daily household electricity use, office electricity use, and household vehicles, and taught everyone the correct response measures for these hazards and accidents.

Afterwards, everyone watched the special safety production warning education film, "Life is More Important Than Mount Tai." The film recounts the important pronouncements of General Secretary Xi Jinping on safety production work since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, systematically answering major theoretical and practical questions on how to understand and carry out safety production work. It is a scientific summary of the lessons learned from safety production and the fundamental principles and guidelines for carrying out safety production work in the new era.

Finally, colleagues from the company's legal affairs office led everyone in a study of the latest 2021 revision of the "Safety Production Law," reviewing the latest revisions to the law.
