The Group held a report meeting to study and implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China

On the afternoon of November 24, Liu Huajun, a member of the Provincial Party Committee's lecture group and dean of the School of Marxism at Yunnan Normal University, came to the group to give a lecture on the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The lecture was chaired by Chen Wenshuang, deputy secretary of the group's Party committee and chairman of the trade union.

Liu Huajun gave a lecture entitled "Drawing a New Blueprint and Opening a New Journey - In-depth Study of the Spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China." The lecture covered the basic situation of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee, the main spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee, and suggestions on learning, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee.

Liu Huajun pointed out that the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee fully embodies the foresight and historical responsibility of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core in planning for the future. It clearly sets out the long-term vision for 2035 and scientifically proposes the guiding ideology, principles, main goals, and important measures for the "14th Five-Year Plan." Focusing on marching towards the second centenary goal, it depicts a grand blueprint for China's economic and social development in the next 5 to 15 years. It is a programmatic document that mobilizes the whole Party, the whole army, and the people of all ethnic groups across the country to work together with one heart and one mind to win new victories in building a modern socialist country comprehensively.

Liu Huajun emphasized that the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee highly evaluated the decisive achievements in winning the comprehensive building of a moderately prosperous society and proposed the guiding ideology and five principles that must be followed for economic and social development during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period: upholding the Party's overall leadership, adhering to the people-centered approach, adhering to the new development philosophy, adhering to deepening reform and opening up, and adhering to a systems approach. It is required to fully understand the significance of the Fifth Plenary Session, deeply understand the connotation of the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session, and effectively strengthen the organizational leadership for learning and implementing the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session.

Chen Wenshuang, in presiding over the meeting, required that learning, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee is our primary political task in the current period and for some time to come. All departments and units should take this provincial Party committee's lecture report meeting as an opportunity to continuously consolidate the group's learning and publicity upsurge and strive to promote the implementation of the spirit of the plenary session within the group. We must raise our political standing and deeply understand and learn; we must quickly organize and implement, and build consensus; we must do a good job of combining articles and creating a new situation for development; and we must combine the group's development situation and scientifically plan the development blueprint for the "14th Five-Year Plan" to ensure the successful completion of the "13th Five-Year Plan".

Members of the group's leadership team, expanded team members; heads and deputy heads of various departments of the group's headquarters; and Party secretaries, chairmen, general managers, and discipline inspection secretaries of various units under the group attended the lecture.
