Emergency power supply ensures bright Spring Festival for residents on the west section of Haitang Road

2019 Year 12 Month 10 Day, the Baoshan Comprehensive Pipe Gallery Project Department of the Ninth Construction Department received a notice from the Baoshan Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Bureau, Baoshan Underground Comprehensive Pipe Gallery Investment Management Co., Ltd., and the Baoshan Command of Group Two, requiring the project department to 2020 Year 1 Month 24 complete the Haitang Road West Section (Zhengyang North Road - Taibao North Road) streetlight upgrading and transformation project.

The project is located in the main urban area of Baoshan City. There are many residential communities and the Baoshan Sports Center on both sides of the road. The road has a large flow of people and high pressure to maintain traffic. The project mainly includes replacing old streetlight facilities 44 units, installing new streetlights 32 units, replacing lighting control cabinets 1 units, excavating pedestrian roads, burying pipes and wiring approximately 1100 meters, and excavating across motor vehicle lanes 3 locations totaling 90 meters. In order to complete the construction task in the shortest possible time and provide Baoshan citizens with a better night lighting environment, the project department immediately organized the streetlight team to enter the site, and at the fastest speed, completed the installation of streetlights while ensuring quality and safety. During the process, the construction plan was refined to ensure the input of personnel, machinery, and materials, and to maximize the speed. Installing lamps during the day and testing the effect at night, after 24 days of continuous hard work, the project department 2020 Year 1 Month 3 days ahead of schedule on 21 completed the Haitang Road West Section (Zhengyang North Road - Taibao North Road) streetlight upgrading and transformation project. This project solved the problem of insufficient streetlights on Haitang Road, effectively ensuring the safety of pedestrians and vehicles, further improving the city's lighting level, and improving municipal infrastructure, allowing residents around the Haitang Road West Section to have a bright Spring Festival.
