The Luxi-Mile Highway project is located in the southeastern Yunnan Province. It is a crucial part of the Yunnan Provincial Expressway Network's planned longitudinal Kirin District-Luxi and Yimen-Mile Expressway, and also a key part of the Honghe Prefecture highway network. The steel structure framework of the Luxi-Mile Expressway's Baishui toll station began installation on October 20, 2019. Currently, four teams are involved in the construction: steel structure, toll island, scaffolding, and decoration. Under the planning and organization of the project manager and chief engineer, the teams coordinated with each other and successfully completed the installation of the toll station's main steel structure framework at 3:30 PM on October 30th.
Safety is paramount in project management. Project leaders and managers at all levels place a high priority on the safety management of the construction site. Everyone is required to establish safety awareness, remember their safety responsibilities, and perform safety management work. November is the third National Fire Prevention Publicity Month in China. Taking this opportunity, the project department has been actively carrying out winter safety education and fire prevention work: actively responding to the company's call to increase fire safety publicity, holding weekly meetings to provide fire safety training to teams, and preventing and reducing fire accidents. Furthermore, safety management has been strengthened at various construction sites. For example, the scaffolding at the Baishui toll station is constructed strictly according to standards. After completion, the project's safety department conducts quality inspections and rectifies any non-compliant aspects, providing a safe working environment for staff and ensuring safe and standardized construction.
Currently, all toll islands at the toll station have been completed, and work is being meticulously deployed and arranged according to a reverse schedule. The project strictly controls the progress on site. While ensuring safety and quality, the project aims to ensure the timely opening of the Baishui toll station and the successful completion of the Phase II construction of the Luxi-Mile Expressway.
