The power supply project for Kunming Lake Zhongba 7# land was successfully energized at 17:03 on December 4, 2019.
The Zhongba 7# land plot of the Chengtou Lake Lakeside Four Seasons City (Phase 1) construction project, an integrated power design and construction project, is located in the Zhongba area of Panlong District, Kunming City. The construction scope includes the procurement, construction, equipment civil works, installation, commissioning, acceptance, energization, handover, and warranty of all power supply and distribution facilities and equipment from the substation outgoing section, ring network cabinet outgoing section, and transformer infeed to the metering device (including the electricity meter and meter box) before the Zhongba 7# land plot.
The project started in March 2019, with the installation of high and low voltage cable trays, civil works, outdoor cable trench and manhole construction, installation of high and low voltage switchgear, transformer installation, installation of enclosed plug-in busbars, and installation of centralized meter boxes. Due to the tight schedule and heavy workload, the project department immediately organized a construction progress promotion meeting to address the conditions and work requirements of all parties, establishing clear deadlines and organizational measures, and focusing on the energization of municipal power. On November 13, high and low voltage cables arrived on site, and the project department started overtime work on cable construction. Cable construction was completed on November 20 and passed the acceptance inspection by the Panlong Power Supply Bureau of the Southern Power Grid. On November 21, the bi-weekly production plan was submitted. At 15:03 on December 4, two sets of municipal power sources were connected to the high-voltage cabinet of the substation. After two hours of backup self-switching tests, transformer impact test runs, busbar impact test runs, and linkage test runs, the project was officially put into production and operated normally at 17:03, completing the energization.
