To further understand the progress of thematic education in grassroots units and address difficulties in development, on August 23, Wu Qian, the Party secretary of the company, conducted a field research in the Eighth Construction Department. All employees of the Eighth Construction Department in Kunming participated in the research symposium.

First, the department manager reported on the leadership team members and their responsibilities, the recent production and operation status, and the difficulties encountered in frontline projects. The main difficulty is the serious backlog of funds due to capital occupation, especially in the Yiliang and Zhenxiong relocation projects with tight deadlines and heavy tasks. Therefore, the department hopes the company can provide assistance in reducing capital occupation to ensure the timely completion of the relocation projects. Secretary Wu stated that the company will study and provide guidance and assistance as soon as possible.

Heads of relevant departments, including budget, administration, human resources, and materials, also raised issues encountered in their work, such as personnel loss, reimbursement difficulties, substandard material quality, and lengthy approval times. Secretary Wu discussed and analyzed these issues with everyone, formulating corresponding solutions. For problems that cannot be solved immediately, Secretary Wu stated that targeted special exchange meetings will be held based on the feedback from grassroots units to effectively overcome these difficulties.

Finally, Secretary Wu made the following requests: First, strictly control the ongoing projects financially, paying attention to project settlement and payment follow-up; second, in terms of business expansion, consider both internal and external factors, focusing on internal group projects while actively expanding external markets; third, strictly control technology, quality, and safety, strengthening technical training and exchanges, keeping up with the times, and improving employees' professional skills; fourth, in terms of talent cultivation, managers should appropriately delegate power, cultivate and train young employees, and form a complete talent training echelon; fifth, in terms of corporate culture publicity, maintain a unified publicity model with the group, keeping activities concise and relevant to frontline projects.
