In commemoration of the founding of the Communist Party of China 98 anniversary, 7 month 1 day, the Yongsheng Project of the Sixth Engineering Department, together with the Third and Third Engineering Departments, 19 employees went to Haishao Red Education Base in Xinzhuang Village, Binchuan County, Dali Prefecture to carry out " Retracing the Long March, Rekindling the Red Heart, Carrying on the Long March spirit" themed event 。

That morning, everyone set off in high spirits, arriving at the Haishao Red Education Base in Xinzhuang Village, Qiaodian Town, Binchuan County. After changing into Red Army uniforms, they entered the Red Army Memorial Hall under the guidance of the explainer. Each photograph reflected the arduous years, each exhibit recorded the past battles. Through the old oil lamp, the heroic history gradually came into view, and all members silently recalled the hardships of the Red Army's Long March.

1936 year 4 month, Corps Commander Xiao Ke and Political Commissar Wang Zhen led the Sixth Red Army into Binchuan. After the Sixth Red Army attacked the original county seat of Binchuan, a total of 270 people in Binchuan joined the Red Army's northward march against Japan. The troops assembled in Haishao, and the Sixth Army headquarters and directly subordinate troops stayed in Xinzhuang Village. Inspired by the fine style and noble character of the Red Army, local youths Yang Shichang, Yang Bing, and 4 others joined the Red Army and devoted themselves to the great cause of the Chinese revolution. To commemorate the contributions of Xinzhuang's ancestors to the founding of New China, Xinzhuang Village is also known as the "Red Army Village".

Retracing the Long March

After visiting the Red Army Memorial Hall, everyone followed the route of the Sixth Red Army during the Long March , following in the footsteps of revolutionary predecessors. After this "Red Army" team from the plateau traversed a section of the road once walked by revolutionary predecessors, they returned to the "Red Army Village." " Upholding ideals, enduring hardship, forging ahead, and fearing no sacrifice." The resounding slogans echoed among the green hills and white clouds.
