At 5 pm on June 27th, a heatstroke emergency drill for the Yuanman project began amidst urgent calls for help.
A construction worker in the welding area experienced symptoms of heatstroke, including dizziness, weakness, and fainting. The on-site safety officer immediately reported to the commander, who promptly issued rescue instructions. The heatstroke emergency rescue personnel immediately provided on-site emergency treatment and instructed the team leader to check if anyone else felt unwell. After 3 minutes, the heatstroke emergency rescue team moved the affected worker to a cool area in the office, helped loosen their clothing, administered heatstroke medication, and used fans and wet towels to cool them down. A special vehicle was waiting at the entrance, ready to transport the worker to the hospital. The drill lasted more than 30 minutes. The entire process was seamless, demonstrating the project department's teams and on-site workers' ability to respond to, provide emergency treatment for, cooperate in, and effectively handle sudden events.
The drill further enhanced the teamwork and emergency response capabilities of the work teams in handling emergencies, laying a solid foundation for ensuring safe production and employee health on the project.
