The Shigongbu Indonesia Surabaya Waste Treatment Plant project department organized a high-temperature heatstroke emergency drill

On June 29, the Surabaya Waste Treatment Plant project team of the Tenth Engineering Department, in collaboration with the general contractor and civil construction units, conducted a heatstroke emergency drill. Project management personnel, Indonesian employees, and frontline workers participated in the drill.

During the drill, several on-site workers "collapsed from heatstroke." After the management personnel reported to the on-site supervisor, Project Manager Zhao Junbo gave the order, and the rescue operation by all participating parties was swiftly launched. The entire rescue operation proceeded in an orderly manner according to the emergency plan and drill procedures. With the cooperation of all participants, the drill was successfully completed.

Currently, the construction work is in the intense stage of outdoor foundation construction and reserved embedding. The workers have high labor intensity and long working hours, coupled with strong outdoor ultraviolet radiation and high temperatures, increasing the risk of heatstroke. Through the drill, everyone's knowledge of heatstroke prevention and safety, as well as their self-rescue and mutual rescue abilities, were improved, creating a good working atmosphere for safe production and civilized construction.
