The Liugongbu Dali Sanshui Plant siphon project has entered a crucial implementation phase.

　　

 

　　Following the completion of the Dali Xiuzhou and Shuanglang siphon pipe installation projects, the project department undertook the Dali Sanshui Plant siphon pipe installation project in early April. Currently, the project has entered the formal implementation phase and is scheduled to be completed on June 20, ready for water delivery.

 

 

　　Compared to the Xiuzhou and Shuanglang siphon pipe projects, the siphon pipe installation work at the Dali Sanshui Plant is relatively more difficult, mainly in the following three aspects: First, the pipe diameter is large. Xiuzhou is DN400, Shuanglang is DN500, and Sanshui Plant is DN800. Due to the large diameter, it is also necessary to overcome a series of problems such as large welding volume, large excavation volume of seabed silt, and large difficulty in submerged pipe construction; second, the sea surface wind and waves are large, and the shear supports and one-word supports connecting the two siphon pipes may break at any time during construction. To avoid the above situation, it is necessary to strengthen the pipe support and reinforcement, and the increase in the amount of work affects the overall progress of the pipe construction; third, the impact on the waterway is relatively large, because the siphon pipe needs to be constructed across the waterway, and the straight-line distance between the pipe axis and the wharf is only more than 200 meters. The large number of boats entering and leaving the wharf also greatly affects the speed of the pipe advancing to the sea.

 

 

　　With the joint efforts of all employees of the project department, the construction personnel overcame numerous difficulties, and the project progress is steadily advancing. Currently, two siphon pipes have been advanced 500m towards the sea, and 15000m³ of seabed silt has been excavated. The construction quality, progress, and safety management work meet the requirements of the owner and supervisor, providing a guarantee for the completion of the siphon pipe installation and submerged pipe work before June 20 and the successful delivery to the owner.
