Painful reflection and a long-ringing alarm bell - a warning education case study of the Lu-Mi Expressway project department accident

　　On April 21, the project management department of the Lu-Mi Expressway project organized a safety warning education session on accident cases for frontline workers. All frontline workers from the electromechanical division's communication, traffic safety, and manual pile drilling teams participated.

　　This accident case warning education and safety training aims to further improve the safety awareness and operational skills of frontline workers, ensuring that they possess the necessary safety production knowledge for their work, are proficient in safety production regulations and operating procedures, prevent accidents, ensure safety production, sound the alarm for safety production, and ensure the smooth completion of the LuXi to Mile Expressway project.

　　During the training, the speaker used accident cases to explain the basic operational knowledge and precautions for welding operations, safe use of electricity at construction sites, safe equipment installation operations, and safety protection for edge, opening, and high-altitude operations. The training detailed emergency measures for unexpected situations during construction, including first aid for electric shock, falls, food poisoning, and collapses, as well as the professional ethics and code of conduct for frontline workers, and explained relevant safety production laws. The accident case warning education emphasized the causes and painful lessons of the "4.22" Longjiang super-large bridge basket collapse accident, the "10.24" Dali Railway tunnel roof collapse accident, and the "11.24" Fengcheng Power Plant major accident, urging frontline workers to enhance their awareness of safety and avoid complacency that could lead to similar tragedies.
