On the afternoon of February 24, the first representative congress of the Yunnan JianTou Second Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. Trade Union was held in the company's conference hall. Members of the company's leadership team (expanded) attended the meeting. 73 representatives from the company's functional departments, grassroots units, and frontline projects participated in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Yang Pengyong, member of the company's Party committee and deputy general manager.

Gan Yong, member of the company's Party committee and deputy head of the conference preparatory leading group, delivered a work report on behalf of the previous committee of the company's trade union, entitled "凝聚奋进力量强化使命担当 团结动员广大干部职工为公司更高质量发展创造新业绩铸就新辉煌" (original text retained).

At the meeting, the company's trade union work report, financial review work report, and financial work report were reviewed and adopted. The first committee of the company's trade union, the financial review committee, and the women's committee were elected. Subsequently, the first plenary meeting of the "three committees" of the company's trade union was held, and the chairman of the first trade union committee, the director of the first trade union financial review committee, and the director of the first women's committee were elected respectively.

Gu Yongmao, secretary of the company's Party committee and chairman of the board, extended warm congratulations on behalf of the company's Party committee on the successful convening of the congress and the election of the members of the "three committees".

He pointed out that in the past two years, under the strong leadership of the group's trade union and the company's Party committee, the company's two-level trade unions have worked together, united their hearts and minds, and forged ahead, achieving positive progress and significant results. He pointed out that the five-year term of the current trade union committee is a crucial five years for the company to start from a new starting point, embark on a new journey, continue to follow the group's development, strive to create a new situation in reform and development, and achieve higher-quality development. Facing the new era, new situation, and new tasks, the trade union has a significant responsibility and glorious mission. To this end, he offered four points of opinion. First, in terms of always adhering to the correct political direction and the Party's leadership, and strengthening ideological and cultural guidance for employees: We must always adhere to the correct political direction and the Party's leadership, and effectively strengthen ideological and cultural guidance for employees. Jointly practice the core mainstream culture of "loving one's job, cherishing one's position, being honest and trustworthy, and operating legally" to contribute wisdom and strength to promoting the high-quality development of the company. Second, in terms of focusing on the main battlefield of production and operation and vigorously stimulating the enthusiasm of cadres and employees: We must firmly grasp the theme of the workers' movement in the era of striving for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and guide the vast number of cadres and employees to make contributions to achieving the various goals and tasks set by the company's "14th Five-Year Plan". We must adhere to improving the skills and quality of employees as the focus, providing and cultivating more "gold medal workers" and "Yunling craftsmen" for the company's higher-quality development. We must continuously promote the reform of the construction of the industrial worker team, and strive to create a high-quality team of skilled workers who are knowledgeable, technical, and innovative. We must vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship, and gather the strong energy of cadres and employees to participate in the company's reform and development. Third, in terms of fully fulfilling the basic responsibilities of rights protection and legally protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees: We must firmly establish the concept that the interests of employees are of great importance, take the aspirations of the masses of employees for a better life as the main line of work, and promote the building of harmonious labor relations. We must do practical things, do practical things, and solve problems for the masses of employees. We must deeply study the new situations and problems in the realization of employees' rights and interests under the new normal, highlight the problem orientation, and strengthen the sense of service. We must continue to promote the construction of the enterprise democratic management system with the employee representative conference as the basic form, solidly promote collective bargaining and factory affairs publicity, and guarantee the rights of employees to participate in supervision and management. Fourth, in terms of actively promoting work reform and innovation, and enhancing the attractiveness, cohesion, and combat effectiveness of trade union organizations: We must strengthen our own work reform, continuously strengthen the construction of grassroots trade union organizations, further strengthen the construction of the cadre team, and cultivate and build a high-quality team of trade union cadres with firm political positions, strong business capabilities, firm mass consciousness, solid work style, and strict self-requirements.

Amidst the rousing music of "Unity is Strength," the first representative congress of the company's trade union concluded successfully.
