Time flies, slipping not only through our fingertips but also through the cracks between them. Looking back, my university days seem like only yesterday, but they have indeed 2019 ended this summer, a season both exhilarating and tinged with a hint of anxiety. Yet, it was this same summer that began my dream-seeking journey within the An'ersi family, "a place where our dreams take flight, where our struggles are without regret."
The moment I stepped into the company this summer, the striking words "Yunnan Construction Investment" left a deep impression on me. I understood that I had become a member of this family, a JianTou person. Here, I will "write the fearless story of my youth, and forever follow the vows I make." Working at the Eleventh Engineering Project Department and at the construction site allowed me to fully experience the responsibility and dedication of the "Highland Iron Army JianTou people." The care and help from my leaders and colleagues showed me their broad-mindedness, and I also experienced the hardships and determination of engineers as pioneers, which filled me with respect and excitement, because I have become one of them.
Looking back at my initial days on the project, I was very confused and at a loss, unsure how to begin, what I could do, and what I could contribute. At that time, I couldn't read blueprints, didn't know the regulations, and didn't know what to do on the computer. It was a level of helplessness and confusion I had never experienced before in my life. But with the help of my leaders and colleagues, I gradually understood what I needed to do and how to do it. I began to slowly take on my role, gradually grasping the project framework, understanding the meaning of project management, and gradually understanding the significance of construction management, the order of construction, learning to read blueprints, and gradually learning some regulatory knowledge.
The busy and fulfilling year has been a fruitful one for me, and I have learned many things:
Attitude and responsibility. Whatever position one holds, one should shoulder the corresponding responsibilities. A correct attitude allows one to use the right methods, find a clear direction, achieve predetermined goals, and ultimately obtain the expected results. Over the past year, my mindset has changed significantly. I understand that work is not just about receiving a monthly salary, but also because this is where my dreams lie, where I have the stage to realize them.
Continuously improving one's personal qualities and work abilities. Diligent learning and a focus on practice are the ways to gain new knowledge, master methods, improve abilities, and solve problems.
In the past year, I have been breaking through and changing. I am no longer the naive "scholar" I was when I first joined the company. Now I can independently complete my work tasks and have further enhanced my professional knowledge, gaining a deeper understanding of many things I had only seen in textbooks, such as transformers, high and low voltage cabinets, and generator sets. However, I am well aware of my shortcomings and need to continue improving my work ability and professional level.
This year, like many others, I have experienced moments of emotion, farewells, harvests, gratitude, and struggle. Working and living in the An'ersi family has allowed me to re-examine my attitude and approach to life and work. My time at An'ersi has taught me this: use your intelligence for work, and your emotional intelligence for relationships! After starting my career, with the help of my leaders and colleagues, I have benefited greatly in terms of professional technology, project management, and personal conduct. My leaders and colleagues have given me ample tolerance, encouragement, and support, and I will cherish my position, do my utmost to contribute, and repay the company.
