On July 30, Xu Yanlu, the company's chief engineer, gave a thematic Party lesson on "Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" to the Ninth Engineering Department and conducted a comprehensive survey of the department in a symposium format. Members of the Ninth Engineering Department's Kunming leadership team, Party members, management personnel, some technical backbone staff, and employee representatives attended the symposium.
The symposium revolved around three topics: difficulties in the company's reform and development; existing problems within the company; and issues of concern to employees. After carefully listening to the speeches of the Ninth Engineering Department's Party secretary and other management personnel, Xu Yanlu affirmed the department's Party building work and production and operation. He pointed out that the Ninth Engineering Department's leadership team should change its mindset, strengthen regional operations while not abandoning existing markets, expand market share, and thus solve a series of development problems. They must overcome difficulties and possess a "wolfish" spirit to make new contributions to the group's leapfrog development.
The convening of this symposium is an important measure for the company to implement the implementation plan for the thematic education of "Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind."
