“Hello! My name is Liu Xingxin from Dianchi College, Yunnan University. I saw your company's recruitment information and submitted my resume. Do I have a chance to attend an interview?” This is a phone call I made to the company's HR department after seeing the recruitment information of JianTou AnErSi in April 2018. It was this call that opened the door to the JianTou AnErSi family; Time is a warm hand hidden in the darkness. In the blink of an eye, six autumns have passed since I made that call. These six autumns have transformed me from an 'inquirer' to a 'traveler,' from a 'newbie' who was flustered when facing problems to a 'veteran' who is calmer and more composed when facing difficulties. Along the way, it has been a journey of stumbling, learning through experience, and feeling my way forward, but also one of daring to act, having a vision, and being fearless.

In the past six years at the company, I have completed seven or eight projects, large and small, ranging from factories and expressways to schools and hospitals, from Shangri-La in April, where it was still snowing, to Huaping County in April, where it was already hot enough to cause heatstroke. Recalling these experiences, they are like a slideshow, vivid and clear.

What impressed me most was the time I spent on the Xiangli Expressway project from 2019 to 2021. Beside the old National Highway 214 in Hutiaoxia Town, there are countless villages of various sizes along the route. What impressed me most was a village called "Donggualin." Donggualin Village is located beside the national highway and at the foot of a mountain, in a very remote location. If you drive and admire the scenery along the way, it is difficult to notice its existence. A three-story pink building with a bright red party flag flying on the roof—this is where the Xiangli Expressway project department was located for two years. I remember when I first arrived in Shangri-La, I was full of curiosity about the local customs, the high-altitude scenery, and the challenges this new project would bring. At that time, I had just been working for a year, and I was facing my first major project, which was very exciting, but also mixed with a lot of apprehension.

When I first arrived at Xiangli, I learned everything from external metering and collection to downstream settlement and payment; from the construction unit to downstream subcontractors, how to clear accounts, upload data, sign off on changes, and enter settlements—all of this was learned bit by bit from my seniors and colleagues. I would record each process in a notebook, then organize my work思路, summarize my experience, grow in the shortest time, and finally, I single-handedly shouldered the responsibility of the project department's contract and budget department. At first, I was confused and helpless, but after a period of hard work, I gradually gained experience, learned to create my own work task lists, made tables for monthly recurring work, and marked deadlines. Each time I completed a task, I would put a checkmark in the corresponding box. In this way, I would not miss any of the monthly repetitive work. Day after day, month after month, my workstation was filled with thick stacks of completed work task lists. I have maintained this habit until now. Every time I change projects, the first thing I do when setting up my workstation is to put the work task list in the most visible place to remind myself.

At Xiangli, every time I went to the general contractor's office, I could see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Looking at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, I couldn't help but think that the towering and majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was like the Xiangli project, with its difficult environment and numerous complex tasks. As long as I could overcome this mountain, I would see a different scenery and discover a different self. The obstacles I encountered, the problems I couldn't solve even after working overtime until midnight, were all resolved through continuous efforts. Those "stumbling blocks" that tripped me up would eventually become my "stepping stones," allowing me to climb to even greater heights.

Two years passed quickly, and Xiangli was completed and put into use. At Xiangli, I transformed from an 'inquirer' to a 'traveler.' Along the way, thanks to the help of my leaders and colleagues, I successfully completed the project and was better prepared for the next 'battlefield.'

I was honored to take over the work of the Engineering Department's Youth League branch in 2022 through a re-election. In two years, I learned how to balance budget work and branch work. As a reserve force of the Party, I learned to think about problems from a different perspective and how to integrate team building into production. In these years of working in the Youth League branch and at the grassroots level, I have developed in many aspects and improved myself comprehensively, laying a solid foundation for my future path. I always believe that "practice is the sole criterion for testing truth, and struggle is the brightest color of youth." Only through struggle can we have a brighter tomorrow.

In these six years, the company has helped me become an outstanding AnErSi youth, the Engineering Department has cultivated me into a Youth League branch leader, and my years at the grassroots level have made me a versatile worker. Coming to JianTou AnErSi, I have gained not only work experience and growth, but also a girlfriend introduced by a colleague. Through hard work, I have also established a family, transforming from a young man into a "responsible man." This year, I am about to become a father, truly understanding the meaning of "Happy JianTou."

Looking back on my six years of work, I feel grateful and honored to be a part of the company and witness its development. These six years have been a journey of steady progress, step by step. I am grateful for my own perseverance and the company's cultivation and trust. In the days to come, I will continue to sail through storms and strive together with JianTou for the next great undertaking! [Third Engineering Project/Liu Xingxin]
