The Qigongbu Chuxiong Project Department conducted PE pipe welding training

In order to improve the operational level of PE pipe welding personnel and enhance the quality of PE pipe welding in gas projects, the Chuxiong Project Department of the Seventh Engineering Department, in conjunction with the owner, Chuxiong China Resources Gas Co., Ltd., held a PE pipe welding training session on the morning of June 29th in the meeting room of Chuxiong China Resources Gas Co., Ltd.

The training was hosted by Chuxiong China Resources Gas Co., Ltd., with project department management personnel and on-site operators participating. Hu Bing, a technical personnel from Yada, the PE pipe fitting supplier, gave a detailed explanation of the PE pipe welding process, methods, and precautions during welding, as well as potential problems caused by improper operation. During the training, on-site personnel and technicians discussed and exchanged ideas on issues arising from on-site construction.

Through the training, construction personnel understood the causes of some difficult and complicated problems during operation, and became more aware of the PE pipe welding process and precautions during welding. This enriched the theoretical knowledge of on-site operators and laid a solid foundation for the next stage of construction.
