Construction of the emergency water supply project connecting the three warehouses of the Ministry of Works is complete in the canyon section.

　　

 

　　On May 11, the construction of section three of the Dali Three Reservoirs Connected to Erhai Emergency Water Replenishment Project Phase I, a collaboration between the company's first construction department and the ninth company, was completed in the canyon section.

 

　　The installed pipes in this section have a large diameter, thick walls, and heavy weight (pipe specifications: ￠1620*20), with a total length of 2300 meters. The construction difficulties lie in the underwater laying of the pipes along the river, the difficulty of drainage and dewatering during pipe laying, and most challenging, pipe welding. Secondly, a highway is under construction above the river, and the pipes need to cross the river five times. Thirdly, the downstream section of Eryuan suburban inspection bridge has a deep and narrow riverbed, making it impossible to repair the access road for pipe transportation. After the project department prepared the lifting plan and submitted it to the command center, it was finally decided to complete the welding on the river bank and then use a 360-ton crawler crane to directly lift and install the three 12-meter-long pipe sections into place.

 

　　With the quick response from the company's leadership and various departments, the project site organized personnel, materials, and equipment within three days, quickly entering the peak stage of the project. The project department overcame numerous difficulties and completed the entire project within 45 working days, ahead of schedule, paving the way for the company's future market development.
