Company's Three Departments and Manjin Expressway Fire Department Support Border Epidemic Prevention and Control

On September 7, the Mankin Expressway project command center received a request for epidemic prevention support from the Jinping County government and relevant departments. More than 20 technicians from the Mankin Expressway fire brigade of the company's Third Engineering Project Department were immediately dispatched from various construction teams on site to participate in the construction of epidemic prevention facilities in Shilitun Township, Retang Village, and Ma'andian Township near the project.

The Jinping border line is 502 kilometers long, accounting for 12.4% of the province's border line, 59.2% of the Honghe Prefecture's border line, ranking second among the 25 border counties in the province, and first among the border counties bordering Vietnam. It borders several counties and townships in Lao Cai Province, Vietnam, with no natural barriers. The border line runs through villages and towns, with trails and small roads scattered throughout the countryside, making the epidemic prevention situation extremely severe.

The Third Engineering Project Department Mankin Project Department, in conjunction with local epidemic prevention and control requirements, bravely assumed the social responsibility of state-owned enterprises. According to the content and needs of the border line defense work, it quickly organized a support team, bringing its own generators, welding machines, cutting machines, angle grinders, and other equipment, tools, as well as dry food, water, and other necessities to the defense construction site. In accordance with the requirements of "guarding points, sealing lines, and managing areas," it actively participated in the construction of border physical, personnel, and technical defenses. The team members obeyed leadership and commands, remaining on duty 24 hours a day, regardless of day or night, sunshine or rain. They lived in tents and ate simple meals, once again demonstrating the excellent tradition of JianTou people—'responding to the call, being able to fight, and winning every battle'—building a solid epidemic prevention line of defense, contributing to ensuring the timely completion of Jinping County's prevention facilities and the rapid commissioning of the border three-dimensional prevention and control system, and injecting impetus into managing the border and guarding the country's gate in the border region!
