On August 13, the Party branch of the Fifth Engineering Project Department held a special organizational life meeting on Party history learning and education at the Dianzhong Water Diversion Project Department. Sun Jinyao, member of the company's Party committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, participated in the organizational life meeting as an ordinary Party member.

At the meeting, the deputy secretary of the branch made a report on "Work of the Party branch in the first half of the year" on behalf of the branch committee, and also reported on the problems checked by the branch committee. Afterwards, the branch members, combining their own work with the situation of Party history learning and education, especially focusing on the study of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on July 1st, made speeches one by one, talking about their gains and improvements, shortcomings and deficiencies, and conducting criticism and self-criticism. In the process of earnestly summarizing the learning achievements, criticizing themselves, and exchanging discussions, the branch members continuously improved and enhanced their Party spirit, and through self-criticism and criticism, clarified some common problems among the branch members and put forward corresponding solutions. The branch members expressed that in the future, they should further strengthen the study of political theory and professional knowledge, and should study in a thematic and focused manner in combination with their own work.
