Party Lesson Starts: Gan Yong Delivers a Special Party Lesson at the First Branch of the Organization on the Spirit of Xi Jinping's Speech at the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China

On the morning of July 23, Gan Yong, a member of the company's Party Committee and chairman of the labor union, delivered a special party lecture entitled "Never Forget Our Original Aspiration, Keep Our Mission in Mind, and Forging Ahead Courageously to Achieve the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation." The lecture focused on the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party, incorporating his own learning insights. A total of 25 party members, active members applying for party membership, and applicants attended the study session.

Gan Yong pointed out that several questions need to be clarified when studying the history of the Party: First, the origin of the name "Communist Party of China"; second, the exact date of the founding of the "Communist Party of China"; and third, what is the original aspiration and mission of the Chinese Communists. Gan Yong provided interpretations of these three questions one by one.

Gan Yong emphasized that as a Communist Party member, striving for greater glory for the Party and the people on the new Long March requires us to do the following:

First, we must persistently arm our minds with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, guide our practice, and promote our work.

Second, we must illuminate our path forward with the truth of Marxism, strengthen our faith, belief, and confidence, always believe in, love, and serve the Party, strive hard at our respective posts, and continuously advance the practice of striving for our lofty ideals.

Third, we must uphold our original aspiration and mission, adhere to the people's stand and put the people first, and interpret the lofty sentiments of Communists—"I will have no self, and I will not let down the people"—with practical actions that benefit the people, and unswervingly strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Fourth, we must carry forward the spirit of carrying the revolution through to the end, continue the spiritual lineage of Communists, enhance our fighting spirit and improve our fighting capabilities, and bravely overcome all risks and challenges.

Fifth, we must continue to carry forward the thorough spirit of self-revolution, resolutely fight against all problems that weaken the Party's advanced nature and harm its purity, forever maintain the political character of Communists, and continuously enhance the Party's ability to purify, improve, reform, and elevate itself.

Sixth, on the road ahead, we must inspire our fighting spirit and guide our direction with the Party's struggle and great achievements, strengthen our belief and unite our strength with the Party's glorious traditions and fine style, and enlighten our wisdom and temper our character with the Party's historical experience and practical creations, carrying forward the past and opening up the future.

Seventh, we must be based on the high-quality development of the enterprise, continuously enhance the "four consciousnesses," strengthen the "four confidences," and achieve the "two safeguards." In our work, we must resolutely "dare to draw the sword on major issues of right and wrong," "take the initiative in reform and development," "charge forward in times of urgency, difficulty, danger, and importance," "love our jobs and pursue excellence in ordinary positions," and "dare to take responsibility when mistakes occur." With a strong sense of responsibility, we will lead by example and set a good example to make new contributions and create new achievements in promoting the high-quality development of the company.

Eighth, we must deeply study and implement the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping on July 1st. We must regard the study and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on July 1st as a major political task, deeply grasp the worldview and methodology of dialectical materialism and historical materialism that permeates the speech. It is a programmatic document of Marxism, a political declaration of the Chinese Communists in the new era to never forget their original aspiration and keep their mission in mind, and an action guideline for our Party to learn from history and create a future. We must deeply understand the significance, rich connotation, core essence, and practical requirements of the speech, and effectively unify our thoughts and actions with the spirit of the speech. With a high degree of political consciousness, we will carry forward the glorious history of a century, carry forward the great founding spirit of the Party, and inspire tremendous momentum for progress. On the new journey, we will create new and greater miracles, and on the new journey of comprehensively building a socialist modern country, we will forge ahead courageously towards the second centenary goal and the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
