Party History Study and Education: Gu Yongmao Delivers a Special Party Lesson on Party History in Qujing Area

On the afternoon of June 16, Gu Yongmao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, delivered a special party lecture entitled "Reviewing the Glorious Party History and Welcoming the Centenary of the Party's Founding" at the relocation project department of Qujing Dyeing Factory. More than 40 people attended, including the main leaders of the Second Engineering Project Department and the Twelfth Engineering Department, and project management personnel from the Qujing area.

Gu Yongmao began by highlighting the significance of conducting Party history education: learning history to understand principles, enhance faith, cultivate morality, and strengthen practice. He also gave examples to emphasize the high importance that successive national leaders have placed on Party history education. Then, focusing on four stages—the period of the New Democratic Revolution, the period of socialist revolution and construction, the period of reform and opening up and socialist modernization, and the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics—he recounted the arduous journey and glorious achievements of the Communist Party of China for the cadres and employees in the area. In the face of various challenges in the new era, he encouraged young cadres to remember Party history and carry forward the revolutionary spirit of the Party's revolutionary predecessors, who were fearless and courageous in their struggles.

Finally, Gu Yongmao led everyone in reviewing the typical achievements of the company during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period and pointed out that the materialistic view of history is the fundamental method for every Communist Party member to grasp history. As modern youth, we must establish a correct view of Party history, resolutely oppose historical nihilism, and correctly understand and scientifically evaluate major events and important figures in Party history.
