Carrying Forward the Red Gene: The Second Branch of the Party Visits the Sanyuan Temple Patriotism Education Base

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, to revisit the red memory, and to carry forward the spirit of patriotism. On June 17, the Party branch of the Second Engineering Project Department organized party members, cadres, and employees from the Qujing area to visit and study at the Qujing Sanyuan Palace Patriotism Education Base.

The Sanyuan Palace meeting was an important meeting held by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Military Commission of the Communist Party of China during the Long March of the Red Army, following the Zunyi Conference and the Zaxi Conference. This meeting correctly analyzed the environment and the enemy-enemy struggle situation in which the Central Red Army was located at that time, and made a major strategic decision to advance westward and northward to quickly cross the Jinsha River and establish a Soviet area in western Sichuan. This was of great and decisive significance to preserving the effective strength of the Red Army, implementing strategic relocation, and successfully crossing the Jinsha River.

Through this visit and study, the cadres and employees in the Qujing area have gained a more complete and comprehensive understanding of the early revolutionary process of the Communist Party of China, a deeper understanding of the Party's original aspiration and mission, and a firmer belief in the comprehensive construction of a socialist modernized country. They all expressed that they would combine the study of Party history with summarizing experience, promoting work, and solving practical problems, and greet the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with high spirits.
