Leadership Cadre Lecture Hall: Kong Xinghu Delivers a Thematic Party History Education Lecture to the Party Branch of the Seventh Construction Department

To further promote Party history learning and education and to welcome the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on May 21, the Party branch of the Seventh Engineering Project Department held a party congress via a DingTalk meeting and an on-site meeting. Kong Xinghu, member of the company's Party committee and deputy general manager, delivered a special Party lesson entitled "Glorious Journey - One Hundred Years of the Communist Party of China (1921-2021)" to the 27 Party members of the Seventh Engineering Project Department branch.

Kong Xinghu first elaborated on the development context and significance of Party history. Then, focusing on the four periods of the New Democratic Revolution, the Socialist Revolution and Construction, the period of Reform and Opening Up and Socialist Modernization, and the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, he gave a clear and easy-to-understand explanation of the historical background, significance, and far-reaching impact of the Communist Party of China's congresses from the First to the Nineteenth National Congress. He systematically reviewed the Party's arduous journey and historical contributions over the past century, from its humble beginnings to its growth and strength, showcasing the Party's journey from its birth to the Chinese nation's embarking on the great rejuvenation of the Chinese Dream. This guided Party members and cadres to undergo Party spirit tempering, understand their original aspirations and missions, and unite to forge ahead, ensuring that Party history learning and education goes deeper and achieves concrete results.

Through this Party lesson, each Party member of the Seventh Engineering Project Department branch realized the arduous journey our Party has undertaken since its founding. Only by establishing clear goals, firm beliefs, and continuous efforts can success be achieved.

Finally, Kong Xinghu, combining the actual work situation, put forward four requirements for the Seventh Engineering Department: First, strengthen project management; second, open up the situation and earnestly organize business production; third, accelerate settlement and collection, with responsibility assigned to each person; and fourth, strengthen Party building, care for frontline employees, and carry out Party history learning and education throughout the project department.
