On May 25, Gan Yong, the leader in charge of the company's first branch of the Party committee, said this during a collective interview and education session with five new comrades who submitted their applications for Party membership in May.

Gan Yong gave the applicants their first lesson on approaching the Party organization, covering four aspects: the nature, purpose, and guiding principles of the Chinese Communist Party; the rights and obligations of Party members; the original aspiration and mission of Chinese Communists; and how to draw closer to the Party organization. This laid the foundation for the new comrades' political progress.

Gan Yong put forward three requirements for the comrades who had newly submitted their applications for Party membership: First, to rectify their motives for joining the Party and consciously accept the Party organization's education and training; second, to have the right mindset about joining the Party and actively cooperate with the Party branch in implementing the relevant procedures for Party membership development according to the requirements; and third, to maintain a correct work attitude and always keep in mind the original aspiration and mission of the Communist Party members.

Gan Yong pointed out that currently, Chinese socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and the new generation of Chinese Communist Party members should have a new atmosphere and new mission. The mission of our generation is to closely follow the pace of high-quality development of the group and the company. Under the strong leadership of the group and the company, we should firmly establish and strengthen the spirit and mission consciousness of "the enterprise prospers, I prosper; the enterprise declines, I decline" and "success does not necessarily depend on me, but success must have my contribution." We must clearly understand the responsibilities and missions we shoulder in the process of high-quality development of the group and the company, constantly enhance our business capabilities and work level, and with a good mental state of daring to take responsibility, daring to act, and being good at innovation, we should highly unify serving the people and rejuvenating the nation with promoting the high-quality development of the enterprise, closely linking our personal future with the development of the enterprise, and taking promoting and achieving high-quality development of the enterprise as the fundamental way to realize our own value. In the new journey of the group's transition from a top 500 Chinese enterprise to a world-renowned domestic first-class enterprise, we should effectively play the exemplary leading role of Party members, with the demeanor of a master and the spirit of "I will take the responsibility," unswervingly devote ourselves to the various reform and development tasks of the group and the company, contribute all our strength to the development of the group and the company, and make new contributions and create new achievements for the group's goal of becoming a world-renowned domestic first-class enterprise and the company's higher-quality development.

This collective interview and education session is part of a series of activities organized by the Party branch to enhance its attractiveness and cohesion, including young employees listening to Party lectures, feeling the Party's grace, and following the Party. It is also part of the branch's practical actions to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party. So far, the total number of formal Party members, probationary Party members, development objects, active applicants for Party membership, and applicants for Party membership in the first branch of the general office is 33, accounting for 75% of the total number of people in the departments involved in the branch, effectively ensuring that the Party flag flies high on the front line.
