11 On the morning of the 21st, the final of the 21st Yunnan Provincial Workers' Vocational Skills Competition for Metal Structure (Riveting) skills, hosted by the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and undertaken by the Group, opened at the Yanglin General Factory of the Steel Structure Company.

Jin Yong, member of the Party group and vice chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, announced the opening of the competition. The referee representative and the contestant representative took the oath, and Li Ya, a representative of the Yunling Craftsmen, read the "Skills Talent Initiative".

This metal structure (riveting) skills competition, themed "Ingenious Creation, Skills Prosper Yunnan," boasts wide coverage and strong professionalism. Benchmarking against the technical standards and competition models of the WorldSkills and national competitions, 11 teams and 32 outstanding contestants from across the province have advanced to the final, where they will compete for four days. The competition content includes theoretical knowledge assessment and practical skills competition, with a total score of 100 points, 30% for theoretical knowledge and 70% for practical skills.

More than 300 people attended the opening ceremony, including relevant leaders from the organizing, undertaking, and co-organizing units; representatives of model workers and craftsmen; heads of the Group's secondary unit trade unions; team leaders, contestants, referees, and competition staff from each participating team.

Following the opening ceremony, the Group's first "Industrial Workers Exchange Day and Model Workers and Craftsmen Roundtable" officially commenced. Attending guests and representatives of model workers and craftsmen visited the Group's Yanglin Steel Structure Manufacturing Base and the exhibition of employees' innovation and efficiency achievements, giving full affirmation to the Group's work in cultivating professional and technical personnel, the achievements of employees' innovation and efficiency, and the reform results of the industrial worker team building.

Jin Yong gave high praise to the model workers and craftsmen interviewed, highlighting four aspects: upholding the original aspiration, being good at learning, pursuing excellence, and inheriting craftsmanship. The event invited high-level talents within the Group (national and provincial model workers, craftsmen, talents, and pacesetters) to discuss the reform of industrial worker team building through interviews, discussing the role of new productive forces in the high-quality development of enterprises, reviewing the original aspirations of struggle, sharing growth experiences, and exchanging skills insights, encouraging a large number of industrial workers to establish lofty aspirations, inherit the spirit of labor, the spirit of model workers, and the spirit of craftsmanship, and continue to carry forward the mission of skills talent cultivation and serving the country through skills.
