The film "The Volunteer Army: The Battle for Survival" is set against the backdrop of the Iron Original blocking battle during the fifth campaign of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. It tells the story of how 25,000 soldiers of the 63rd Army of the Chinese People's Volunteers fought fiercely for 12 days and nights on the Iron Original battlefield against nearly 50,000 "United Nations troops." With their flesh and blood, they built an indestructible "Iron Great Wall," ultimately forcing the enemy to the negotiating table."

The film's plot is ups and downs, moving and deeply touching. During the viewing, everyone was captivated by the heroic scenes of the Volunteer Army soldiers' tenacious struggle and the deep camaraderie among the soldiers; they were deeply moved by the unwavering faith and boundless loyalty to the Party and the country of these revolutionary martyrs.

After the viewing, representatives of the youth league members from various units gave speeches.
