To effectively prevent and respond to altitude sickness emergencies and improve the emergency response capabilities and rescue efficiency of the project team, the original ore system project of the second phase expansion and renovation project of the Tibet Julong Copper Mine recently conducted an altitude sickness emergency drill.

The drill simulated a scenario where a construction worker fainted and lost consciousness due to working in a low-pressure, low-oxygen environment for a long time. Upon discovering this, the site supervisor immediately reported to the project manager, who immediately activated the emergency plan and quickly notified the medical rescue team and the safety evacuation team.
After receiving the notification, the medical rescue team quickly arrived at the scene, conducted a preliminary examination of the "patient," and took appropriate emergency measures. Meanwhile, the safety evacuation team quickly used triangular flags or warning tapes to cordon off the accident scene and the rescue area, strengthening on-site security to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering or taking photos, ensuring smooth and orderly roads, and preventing secondary accidents. During the drill, each team had clear responsibilities, acted quickly, and cooperated closely. After emergency treatment, the "patient's" symptoms improved, and they were safely sent to the hospital for further treatment.
This altitude sickness emergency drill was a complete success, not only improving the awareness and prevention of altitude sickness among all cadres and employees of the project department but also further enhancing their emergency response and rescue capabilities. The drill also tested the feasibility and effectiveness of the project's emergency plan, providing valuable experience for the project department to further strengthen its safety production management and improve its emergency plan system.
