On a bright morning four years ago, I stepped through the company's doors full of hope and anticipation. At that time, I was a young graduate, full of curiosity and expectation for the future. The construction industry, for me, was not just a profession, but a stage for me to realize my self-worth.

Time flies. Four years have passed in the blink of an eye. During this journey, I have experienced countless challenges and growth, transforming from a greenhorn into an independent project safety director. I remember when I first started, I was assigned to a newly launched project. At that time, I knew very little about project management, and I was learning and exploring every day. Fortunately, I met many experienced colleagues and seniors who patiently guided me, from how to read blueprints to how to coordinate resources; every bit of my progress was inseparable from their selfless teaching.

Over four years, I have participated in eight projects, ranging from small projects like the installation of water conservancy electromechanical equipment and metal structures to large-scale projects like the technical transformation of pharmaceutical factory workshops. Every project has been infused with my sweat and hard work. The most memorable was the Ludila Water Lifting Project of the Binchuan County Hydropower Station Water Resources Comprehensive Utilization PPP project; it was the most challenging experience of my career. At that time, we faced extreme weather conditions, complex geological situations, and tight deadlines. During that period, our team worked day and night, overcoming one difficulty after another.

During the concrete pouring process, we experienced unprecedented hardship. Before pouring, we needed to design and make templates—a time-consuming and laborious process that tested our precise measurement skills and superb construction techniques. The subsequent cleaning of the work surface was also extremely heavy. We needed to clean up garbage, oil stains, and stagnant water to ensure that the template surface was smooth. This process often required us to bend over for long periods, resulting in sore backs and waists by the end of the day. During the steel bar binding stage, we needed to bind the steel bars correctly within the template according to the design requirements, ensuring accurate positioning. This process not only tested patience and meticulousness but also required us to maintain a high level of vigilance to ensure safety during construction.

Once the concrete was mixed and stirred, the subsequent pouring operation was the most arduous part of the entire process. We needed to pour the concrete into the template and tamp it down to ensure the density and uniformity of the concrete. During this process, we had to maintain a high degree of focus and could not afford any carelessness or negligence.

Although the concrete pouring process was arduous and laborious, my fellow construction workers and I understood that it was a crucial part of construction. Our hard work was to ensure the strength and durability of the concrete, laying a solid foundation for the success of the entire project. After all this, the moment of successful acceptance made me cry with excitement; all the efforts had become tangible results, and this experience became an unforgettable memory in my life.

In four years, I not only learned professional skills but also learned how to communicate with people and how to work together. The success of each project was not the achievement of one person but the result of the joint efforts of all colleagues. We celebrated successes together and faced challenges together; this team spirit brought me a lot of warmth and strength.

Of course, the four-year journey was not all smooth sailing; I also encountered failures and setbacks, sometimes even doubting my abilities. There was a period of "darkest hour" in my career; whenever I recall that time, my heart is always filled with mixed emotions. However, it was these setbacks that made me stronger. I learned to learn from my failures and constantly improve myself.

Today, as I look back on my four-year career, I feel immensely proud and grateful. I am grateful to the company for providing me with opportunities and a platform to hone my skills and realize my self-worth. I am grateful to my colleagues who fought alongside me, giving me help and support when I encountered difficulties. The road ahead is still long, and I will continue to strive for my dreams. I also look forward to joining hands with more like-minded people to create a better future. [Fifth Engineering Project Department/Li Bin]
