At the Ninth Engineering Project Department, there is a welder who, through his superb skills and tireless efforts, has written his own legend in the welding field. He is Xie Jiayuan. Since graduating from Yunnan Provincial National Defense Technical School in 1997, Xie Jiayuan has embarked on the path of welding, dedicating himself to this industry and contributing his sweat and wisdom to the company's development.

Xie Jiayuan's career began at the Boiler Division of An'er Company. As a newcomer, he learned welding techniques from his masters and senior colleagues, starting with simple non-standard workpieces and steadily building a solid foundation. After four years of diligent study, he mastered the welding skills of pressure pipelines. He then participated in the pipeline welding work of numerous boiler installation projects, continuously improving his welding skills through the deep integration of theory and practice.

In his work, Xie Jiayuan has always maintained a proactive attitude and a willingness to face challenges. In the titanium pipe welding test at the Xundian Nanlin Group, he actively summarized and discussed with his senior colleagues, collecting and compiling the process parameters, welding sequence, and precautions for titanium pipe welding, providing valuable reference materials for the company to formulate titanium pipe welding process evaluation. In the installation project of the exterior decorative frame of the Pu'er Grand Theatre, he proactively searched for information, carefully prepared a reasonable welding plan, and successfully solved the welding stress problem of the densely welded large-scale arc steel structure.

He not only focuses on improving his own skills but also enjoys teaching others. At the Jiangsu Nantong Prince Paper Mill project department, he took on the responsibility of providing professional training in stainless steel argon arc welding to on-site welders. Because this project had strict requirements for the internal quality and appearance of the welds, he devoted great effort. After more than 20 days of careful guidance and intensive practical operation, the welders' professional skills were significantly improved, and the welding quality met the set standards.

In the Inkon nickel pipe repair project of Lufeng Xinli Titanium Industry Co., Ltd., he once again demonstrated his outstanding technical strength and exploratory spirit. He thoroughly researched the welding process of Inkon nickel pipes, persevered despite difficulties, and repeatedly conducted experimental verification. Finally, he successfully overcame the technical difficulties of Inkon nickel pipe welding, solving a long-standing technical problem for the owner. This breakthrough achievement won great praise from the owner.

While improving his skills, Xie Jiayuan also focused on self-improvement. Through studying at the Chongqing University Online Education College, he obtained a degree in construction engineering management, further broadening his horizons. In 2019, he successfully passed the Level 2 Constructor examination for electromechanical engineering, laying a more solid foundation for his career development.

His tireless efforts and superb skills have been highly recognized by the company. He has been recommended to participate in welder competitions many times and has won numerous honors. In 2006, he won seventh place in the second "Atlantic Cup" Kunming regional welder competition and was awarded the honorary title of "Skilled Welder". In October of the same year, he was awarded the title of "Youth Post Expert" by the Kunming Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League for his outstanding work performance. Two years later, he achieved fifth place in the Yunnan Provincial Construction Cup Welder Competition. In 2016, he won first place in pipeline welding in the company's internal welder skills competition with an overwhelming advantage, once again proving his strength. These honors and awards are not only a recognition of his skills but also the best testament and reward for his long-term hard work and dedication to the pursuit of excellence in welding.

Looking back on his growth journey, Xie Jiayuan feels deeply grateful and proud. He knows that his achievements are inseparable from the company's cultivation and support, as well as the careful guidance of his masters and senior colleagues. At the same time, he firmly believes that personal effort and perseverance are equally important. He emphasizes the importance of a correct work attitude, continuous learning, and practical accumulation, and encourages seeking advice and research when facing challenges.
