The meeting focused on in-depth study of the important article "We Must Uphold Putting the People First" by General Secretary Xi Jinping published in Qiushi Journal; relayed the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee on March 29; implemented the spirit of the meeting of the Central Leading Group for Party Building and the "Notice on Launching Party Discipline Education throughout the Party"; earnestly implemented the work requirements of the Provincial Party Building Leading Group meeting; and arranged and deployed party discipline education and related work.

The meeting listened to the report on the Group's economic operation in the first quarter, and required that all units and departments under the Group should be confident, seize opportunities, earnestly implement the main responsibility of grasping the economy, unswervingly put "steady growth" in the first place, focusing on the Group's "3512 ” development goals and " 12125” economic goals, focusing on improving " three major industries ” core competitiveness, focusing on playing " three advantageous cards ” , closely focusing on annual goals and tasks, implementing responsibilities layer by layer, and firmly establishing " focus on major projects, major production, and major revenue ” as a clear orientation, achieving new and better results in steady growth, risk prevention, strengthening financing, optimizing investment, deepening reform, creating benefits, reducing costs, and improving quality, and contributing greater strength to the Group's high-quality development with enhanced internal strength.
