Recently, the Second Engineering Project Department successfully bid for the construction project of the pyrometallurgical system engineering of the Chuxiong Dianzhong Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd.'s recycled copper resource recycling base.

The project's bid amount is 28.7367 million yuan, mainly including the construction engineering, installation engineering, and anticorrosion and insulation engineering of the pyrometallurgical system (including the demolition, renovation, transportation, and installation of the old rotary anode furnace from the former Southwest Copper Industry), and factory road construction.

It is understood that Chuxiong Dianzhong Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. relies on its existing copper pyrometallurgical system equipment and technological advantages to build a new pattern of "primary + recycled" synergistic development. The project mainly constructs a cathode copper finished product warehouse and supporting facilities that meet the requirements, carries out partial adaptive transformation of the existing pyrometallurgical system, and builds a high-impurity anode copper electrolysis system suitable for recycled copper raw materials. It will achieve a cathode copper production capacity of 200,000 tons/year (including approximately 150,000 tons of cathode copper from copper concentrate and approximately 50,000 tons of cathode copper from recycled copper), integrating recycled copper raw material recovery and resource recycling, simultaneously achieving comprehensive recycling of secondary copper resources, and striving to build a highly efficient and green recycled copper resource recycling demonstration base.
