Chen Zujun investigated key projects in the Honghe area and visited and comforted frontline cadres and employees

1 On October 20, Chen Zujun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group Company, and Yang Guowen, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, went to Honghe to investigate the Phase I project of the Gejiu City Urban Renewal Shadian Street (Shihuayuan area) of the Second Construction Company, the Honghe Tobacco Industry Integrated Regional Logistics Distribution Center construction project of the Seventh Construction Company, and the leaf-curing relocation and technological transformation project of the Honghe Tobacco Leaf Curing Co., Ltd. of the Fourth Construction Company. They conducted safety inspections, visited and comforted front-line cadres and employees, and held a symposium.

During the safety inspection, Chen Zujun and his entourage learned in detail about the overall situation of the three projects, the on-site construction progress, and safety and quality management. They had in-depth exchanges with front-line cadres and employees, inquired about the problems and difficulties encountered in the current construction process, and arranged and deployed the next steps.

Chen Zujun affirmed the achievements made by the units stationed in Honghe in their ability to respond promptly, fight effectively, and win battles in the construction of key projects in the Honghe area. He expressed his approval of the Second Construction Company's Gejiu project's strict adherence to node target tasks and reasonable organization of construction, the Fourth Construction Company's Honghe Tobacco Factory project's "planning on the wall," and the use of the "overall lifting of the net frame" new technology to improve project construction efficiency.

He emphasized that the responsibility for safety production is paramount; without safety, there is nothing. All units should thoroughly implement the concept of "people first, life first" put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping, recognize the importance of safety, uphold the bottom line of safety, fulfill their responsibilities for safety, and strictly follow the requirements of "safety first, quality first" and the Group's "four guarantees, one control, and one tree" project management to promote project construction. With a sense of responsibility that is always uneasy and a work attitude that always keeps a tight grip on things, they should tighten the safety strings, maintain safety control, and weave a safety net to firmly guard the bottom line and red line of safety production. They should continue to increase the efforts to investigate and rectify safety hazards, effectively improve their awareness of emergency prevention and their ability to handle emergencies, resolutely ensure a stable and controllable safety production situation during the provincial "Two Sessions" and the Spring Festival, and resolutely ensure the safety of the lives and property of project cadres and employees.

Chen Zujun pointed out that in the new year, the units stationed in the Honghe area should further enhance their confidence in their work and their fighting spirit. Guided by the Group's main work line of "promoting stability through progress and improving quality through stability," they should seize the implementation of various tasks with a fighting spirit of "the beginning of the year is the beginning, and the beginning is the battle," laying a solid foundation for the Group to achieve a "stable start" in 2024. They should adhere to the principle of "building a monument, making friends, and winning reputation for every project," firmly establishing the concept of "one network, one game, one family, one heart," strengthening information sharing and resource sharing, effectively giving full play to the advantages of group operations, helping each other, striving for excellence, promoting the market through on-site work, creating high-quality projects, and continuously polishing the "golden signboard" of Yunnan Construction Investment.

Chen Zujun demanded that the Second Construction Company's Gejiu project further improve its political standing, deeply understand the importance of the project, be responsible in their hearts and actions, and complete the project's completion work efficiently, safely, and stably, ensuring that the node target tasks are successfully completed. The Fourth Construction Company should carry forward its fine traditions, further give play to the advantages of its Class-A qualification enterprise and the demonstration and leading role of the new benchmark in the construction sector, continuously increase its efforts to "go out," vigorously expand the "two outside" markets, and promote the formation of a good pattern of sustainable development. The Seventh Construction Company should benchmark against and learn from excellent management experience to promote the double harvest of economic and social benefits of the project.

Chen Zujun emphasized that in the process of project construction, all units should fully implement the corporate mission of "building a better life and investing in a happy future," fully integrate into the construction of "five construction investments," cultivate a group of backbones, hone a group of talents, and build a group of teams, forming a good atmosphere of "rewarding the good and punishing the bad," allowing employees to share the fruits of the company's reform and development, jointly build a happy construction investment, and share a happy life.
