The installation and commissioning of the Shilajie 35KV and 330KV collection stations for the 1000MW photovoltaic project of the National Energy Group in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, undertaken by the First Engineering Project Department, successfully completed the installation and commissioning of two 330KV main transformers and GIS main and auxiliary equipment on January 1, 2024, achieving the key power supply node target as scheduled, marking a phased victory in the electrical installation and commissioning of the project.

During the construction of this project, the minimum temperature was -28℃, the average temperature was -13℃, and strong winds and sandstorms occurred frequently. The project also had a short construction period, tight schedule, and heavy workload. Faced with the harsh working environment and arduous tasks, project management personnel actively overcame difficulties, organizing construction personnel to discuss materials such as the 330KV collection station electrical construction drawings, equipment manuals, equipment technical agreements, installation construction plans, and construction and acceptance standards, and to familiarize themselves with the equipment's construction and installation processes. After the main transformer was in place, the project department organized personnel to check the impact recorder; calibrate the gas relay and thermometer; conduct bushing TA inspection tests (ratio, polarity, and arrangement) and cleaning; measure the dielectric loss and capacitance of the capacitor bushings; conduct pressure tests on some low-voltage bushings; and conduct simplified analysis tests on on-site samples of insulating oil. After the routine tests, the installation of heat sinks, oil cushions, oil cushion accessories, lifting seats, iron cores and clamp grounding conductors, and temperature relays was carried out, followed by transformer oil treatment, vacuum treatment and vacuum oil filling, hot oil circulation, overall sealing tests, cable arrangement and secondary wiring. Working together, and ensuring safety and quality, with a rigorous work attitude, the team ensured the successful completion of the transformer installation task.
This project is a smart energy base that relies on information technologies such as big data, cloud computing, industrial wireless networks, and digital twins, and is supported by intelligent equipment such as unmanned aerial vehicle inspection systems, advanced sensors and intelligent control systems, and intelligent fault self-diagnosis systems. Through a fully digital intelligent power generation control and intelligent inspection platform, it unifies the centralized operation and maintenance and full-process automatic management of wind and photovoltaic power stations. After the project is completed, a management system with reduced or even unmanned on-site staffing will be implemented.
Currently, the project has completed the first phase of construction. Next, the project department will continue to overcome the impact of extremely low temperatures and harsh weather, strengthen control over project safety, quality, progress, and cost, strictly follow the Group's "four guarantees, one control, and one cultivation" management requirements, focus on tackling key problems, and make every effort to promote project construction.
