The Project Team of the Eighth Engineering Project Department at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport was awarded multiple honors.

Recently, Angkor International Airport Investment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. held a commendation ceremony for the construction and commissioning of the Siem Reap Angkor International Airport. The ceremony commended 44 "advanced collectives," 219 "advanced individuals," and 59 recipients of the "Builder Medal" for their outstanding performance in the project's construction and operational preparations. The company received the "Advanced Collective" honorary title, Luo Xingwang, the Cambodian project manager of the Eighth Engineering Project Department, received the "Builder Medal," and four employees from the Eighth Engineering Project Department—Luo Xingwang, Yang Hao, Yin Da Jiu, and Yu Shui—were awarded the "Advanced Individual" title.

This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cambodia, and the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. As the first international airport overseas to be invested in, constructed, and operated by a Chinese company under a BOT model, Siem Reap Angkor International Airport is of great significance to the high-quality construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, the protection of the historical and cultural relics of Angkor Wat, the improvement of local infrastructure, and the promotion of tourism development.

All employees of the project department will take this commendation as an opportunity to continue to deeply integrate into the national "Belt and Road" initiative with practical actions, and contribute greater strength to expanding the international brand effect of JianTou and building a community of shared future between China and Cambodia.
