The Yuanmou-Dayao Expressway 35kV power transmission and transformation project, section 2, constructed by the Metal Structure Processing Center, is located in Dayao County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture. The entire project includes the construction of a new 2# 35kV construction substation; 4.62km of 35kV lines, 17.471km of 10kV lines (circuits 4 and 5), 13.783km of 10kV lines (circuits 6 and 7); 408 towers; and more than 30 transformers.

Be prepared before the rain.

In response to the Group's call for "50 days of intensive work to win the whole year," the project department has not dared to slack off, regarding "speeding up the construction period" as the top priority. The complex terrain and long lines at the project site have brought many difficulties to material transportation and on-site construction. To ensure the smooth completion of node tasks, the project department actively coordinated various forces, increasing construction personnel and using pack animals for material transportation, greatly improving construction efficiency and ensuring construction progress. At the same time, the project department prepared material needs plans in advance to ensure timely material production and supply, and the construction materials arrived on time.

To date, the project has completed the construction of 35kV line towers and 10kV line foundation engineering. To ensure that construction efficiency steadily improves, the project department refines the progress plan, reports daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time, and closely monitors the on-site progress to ensure the orderly advancement of construction tasks.

Strictly control quality

At this critical juncture, the project department is doing its utmost to speed up the construction period and focus on quality. Guided by the construction of "Quality JianTou," a on-site inspection team was established immediately, sounding the first horn of the "50-day intensive work." The inspection team is headed by the project manager, with project department management personnel participating. Every morning at 7 o'clock, they arrive at the site to hold a pre-shift safety education meeting, constantly emphasizing the importance of safe construction. In addition, the team implements a rotational system, checking the safety of the construction site from multiple aspects, including technology, quality control, construction progress, safety risk control, personnel arrangement, and material entry. Quality defects and safety hazards found are required to be rectified promptly, gradually achieving normalized inspections and efficient rectification, making engineering hidden dangers "nowhere to hide." Under the premise of ensuring safety, the node tasks are completed with high quality.

Currently, the management personnel of the YuanDa Expressway project department are further improving plan deployment, reverse scheduling the construction period to refine nodes, actively communicating and coordinating, and optimizing the team structure to ensure that various measures are implemented. The project manager emphasized that in the final stage of the year-end sprint, we must enhance the awareness of "competing for every minute and second," focus on node target tasks, make every effort to attack and sprint, and do a good job in the final stage with the spirit of "driving in nails," pushing the project construction to run at an "accelerated pace".
