Shuangjiang Autonomous County is located in Lincang City, Yunnan Province. It is an important component of Yunnan Province's border town belt and, together with Linxiang, Gengma, Zhenkang, and Cangyuan, supports the development of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor. The main task of the Shuangjiang project of the Ninth Engineering Project Department is to improve public service facilities and municipal supporting infrastructure, reinforce and renovate houses, improve the environment in the Mengku area, thereby improving the quality of the living environment and public services in the area. This task will be completed by a young team of post-95s. The Shuangjiang project is the first municipal project undertaken by the Ninth Engineering Department, and the project site will also become a battlefield for this young team to improve their abilities.

The times have never stopped posing challenges, and young people have never been afraid of difficulties.
This young team of post-95s consists of project manager Huang Qing, project leader Wang Xiaoping, budget manager Li Xiubo, safety officer Sun Fa Ming, and registered specialist Fan Wang. Every day after work, the project department's office is still brightly lit, which seems to have become the norm. Due to the large number of documents related to on-site concealment, changes, and visas, everyone needs to monitor the construction site during the day, collecting and preserving images at any time. Therefore, they can only work overtime at night to prepare documents. Every night, while chatting and laughing, everyone unknowingly finishes their work and seems to forget the fatigue of the day. Because everyone is in contact with municipal engineering for the first time, they have a limited understanding of some construction content, which has created some obstacles to the project management work. In response to this situation, project manager Huang Qing proposed a plan to concentrate on studying the construction content for one hour every day, including the study of construction processes, construction standards, design standards, and acceptance standards. In addition, the project team members collectively discuss and study the construction drawings, learn and study together through a question-and-answer approach, and regularly invite relevant professionals for on-site guidance.
Based on their posts, they take on responsibilities and work practically.
The project is located in Mengku Town, where social personnel and vehicles are complex, the construction is difficult, and there are many interfering factors. Everyone must be at their posts and work with great effort to ensure that the project is completed on schedule. In terms of safety, due to the long "front line" and many construction sites, team members walk at least 5-6 kilometers on site every day, checking risks one by one to ensure that each operation point is free of safety hazards, each construction point meets the standards, and relevant information can be collected in a timely manner. Even if overtime is required at night, everyone will stay at their posts and will only leave after confirming that there are no safety hazards on site. While sticking to their posts, everyone still insists on studying for one hour every day. With heavy responsibilities on their shoulders, everyone in the team has to go all out to improve themselves, overcome all difficulties, and strive for project innovation and efficiency.
Writing a magnificent chapter of life with sweat and perseverance.
When encountering overtime work to catch up with the schedule, traffic management is often required on site. At this time, everyone in the team has a second identity—traffic controller. On this nearly 1.4-kilometer "front line," they stand for 3-4 hours at a time, taking turns passing the walkie-talkie, like a relay race. In the end, through the efforts of everyone in the team, both road traffic and pedestrian safety were ensured, as well as the safety of the construction.
The knife is sharpened on the stone, and people are honed in the work. The more difficult the working conditions, the more they can hone one's character and increase one's ability. To be able to shoulder heavy burdens, fight tough battles, and take on heavy responsibilities at critical moments, one must constantly "suffer their minds and tire their bodies." Only by working hard and honing one's skills can one truly master the skills.
With the color of youth, depicting the responsibility of young people. The first municipal shantytown renovation project is both an opportunity and a challenge for everyone in this team. In this era full of opportunities and challenges, they can be small people, but they can also write their own legends. As young people of the construction investment, they should have lofty aspirations and strive to leave their footprints on the vast stage of development.
