On the morning of May 8, the commissioning ceremony and on-site observation meeting of the Defang Yiwei 110,000-ton annual output of nano-lithium iron phosphate project in Qujing were held in the Qujing Economic and Technological Development Zone. Li Shisong, member of the Standing Committee of the Yunnan Provincial Committee and secretary of the Qujing Municipal Committee; Li Xianxiang, deputy secretary of the Qujing Municipal Committee and mayor of Qujing; Mao Jianqiao, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Qujing Economic and Technological Development Zone; Kong Lingyong, chairman and president of Defang Nano; Liu Jincheng, chairman of EVE Energy; and Gu Yongmao, party secretary and chairman of the company, attended the ceremony.

Qujing Defang Yiwei Co., Ltd.'s annual output of The 110,000-ton nano-lithium iron phosphate project is a joint venture between Shenzhen Defang Nano Technology Co., Ltd. and Huizhou EVE Energy Co., Ltd., with an investment of approximately 2.5 billion yuan. Upon completion, the project will have an annual output value of no less than 4.2 billion yuan, create approximately 1,400 jobs, and generate annual tax revenue of no less than 600 million yuan. It is currently the largest-capacity new energy cathode material project completed and put into operation in China.

This project integrates the advantages of EVE Energy and Defang Nano, representing in-depth cooperation in the industrial supply chain. It will help EVE Energy stabilize its raw material supply, enhance its core competitiveness, and promote the development of Defang Nano and EVE Energy.

Qujing Defang Yiwei Co., Ltd.'s annual output of The installation and construction general contracting project of Section 1 of the 110,000-ton nano-lithium iron phosphate project was implemented by the company's Twelfth Engineering Project Department. It includes the installation of all equipment, pipelines, electrical (secondary side), and instruments within the sintering workshop 1, mixing workshop 1, tail gas treatment 1, tank area, iron nitrate workshop, and lithium nitrate/sodium nitrate workshop boundary areas; the fabrication and installation of all equipment support steel platforms/operating platforms, pipeline/cable tray supports; the installation of process pipelines between boundary areas; and all anticorrosion and insulation construction within the scope of implementation. The provisional total contract amount is 77.6 million yuan, with over 800 sets of equipment installed, 250,000 inches of pipelines installed, and nearly 1 million meters of electrical power and control cables laid. The contract schedule was from December 27, 2021, to February 23, 2022, a total of 60 calendar days. However, due to delays in the preliminary design drawings and civil construction, delays in the procurement of owner-supplied equipment and materials, and the failure of the external public utility corridor to be delivered on time, the project was only basically ready for construction on February 15, 2022. The Twelfth Engineering Project Department's Defang project department implemented a reverse schedule, actively coordinating materials and construction resources. Management personnel worked "5+2" and "day+night", and during peak construction periods, approximately 600 workers were on-site simultaneously. Overcoming difficulties such as the impact of the epidemic, logistics bottlenecks, delayed material supply, and sudden concentration of manpower organization, the project was ultimately completed within 60 days, meeting the owner's mechanical completion requirement of April 15, while ensuring safety, quality, and cost control. This led to successful commissioning on May 8, earning recognition from the owner and establishing a positive image for the company, laying a solid foundation for future project cooperation with the owner.

Qujing Defang Yiwei Co., Ltd.'s annual output of The 110,000-ton nano-lithium iron phosphate project is another cooperative project with Defang Nano following the Qujing Lintie Phase I and II 20,000-ton lithium iron phosphate, 5,000-ton lithium phosphate, Qujing Defang 15,000-ton lithium iron phosphate, Qujing Defang 40,000-ton lithium iron phosphate, and Huaxiang Technology New Energy Battery Environmental Protection Project Phase I. Subsequent projects include the Qujing Defang Chuangjie New Energy 25,000-ton lithium supplement agent Phase I project, Huaxiang Technology New Energy Battery Environmental Protection Project Phase II, and the Yibin Defang Times lithium iron phosphate project. To date, the total contract value of projects with Defang Nano has reached 600 million yuan, with 413 million yuan completed and 187 million yuan to be implemented.

The Twelfth Engineering Project Department will continue to carry forward the wolf spirit, the plateau iron army spirit, and the craftsman spirit, building high-standard, high-quality projects, maintaining a long-term and good cooperative relationship with Defang Nano, and using this as a fulcrum to actively plan and operate similar projects for other battery companies, striving to be a pioneer in the field of new energy construction and providing performance for the company to expand the new energy market.
