Gu Yongmao went to Hubei Paper Mill project for inspection and guidance, and conducted project cooperation talks with Nine Dragons Paper

On November 24, Gu Yongmao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, led a team to the Sixth Engineering Project Department to inspect and guide the construction of the Nine Dragons (Hubei) 600,000-ton pulp and 2.4 million-ton high-grade packaging paper integrated pulp and paper project, and conducted project cooperation talks with Nine Dragons Paper (Hubei) Co., Ltd.

The Hubei Nine Dragons Paper project involves semi-chemical pulping, chemical pulping, preparation, evaporation, causticizing, lime kilns, air compression, circulating water, and comprehensive pipelines, etc., including non-standard equipment (tanks, cans, towers), process pipelines, electrical instruments, equipment, anti-corrosion insulation, steel structures and other multiple disciplines. The contract duration is 392 calendar days, with the condition to be ready for operation before August 30, 2022. The project has a large workload and a tight schedule. Up to now, the project is progressing smoothly, and it is planned to achieve 80% (5000 tons) of the non-standard equipment manufacturing and installation workload by the end of the year.

Gu Yongmao and his team went deep into the construction site, carefully checked the quality of the non-standard manufacturing and installation projects on site, comprehensively understood the progress of the project, and put forward practical suggestions and guidance on the installation preparation work of large equipment such as the lime kiln.

At the project site, Gu Yongmao held project cooperation talks with Zhang Zhu, general manager of Nine Dragons Paper (Hubei) Co., Ltd.

At the talks, Gu Yongmao introduced the development history of the company since its establishment, and introduced the company's core business segments in chemicals, papermaking, metallurgy, power, construction, and highways, as well as its market operations outside the province and abroad. He also conducted in-depth exchanges on the promotion and implementation of future projects and cooperation.

Zhang Zhu, on behalf of Nine Dragons Paper (Hubei) Co., Ltd., welcomed Gu Yongmao's visit and introduced the production scale, market prospects, and pulp line start-up situation of Nine Dragons Paper (Holdings) Group and Nine Dragons Paper Hubei base. He fully affirmed the company's production organization and management capabilities in the pulp line project of Nine Dragons Paper Hubei base, affirmed the progress of the first cooperation project with the company, and hoped that the company would continue to promote the Jingzhou base pulp line project with high quality and carry out long-term, diversified, and in-depth cooperation on the basis of the current cooperation project.

Through this project cooperation talk, both sides are full of confidence in carrying out long-term mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation in the future, and both sides are full of expectations for more diversified project cooperation in the future. At the same time, it lays a solid foundation for the company to expand the papermaking installation industry in the future, further promoting the high-quality development of the company; at the meeting, Gu Yongmao also invited General Manager Zhang Zhu and the relevant persons in charge of the pulp line factory to visit the company.
