Welding workers entrance examination for the pulp project of Jiulong Paper Industry (Hubei) in Liugongbu

On October 18, the Sixth Engineering Project Department of the company held a practical welding examination for welders on the 600,000-ton pulp and 2.4 million-ton high-grade packaging paper integrated forest-pulp-paper project of Jiulong Paper (Hubei) Co., Ltd., and invited the construction unit to participate in the evaluation.

This project has a large amount of steel structure installation work for container equipment and safety platforms, with many types and specifications of materials, many types and numbers of welds, and high welding quality requirements.

To better approximate the actual welding position of the project, the project department prepared two sets of test plates for each welder for vertical and horizontal welding examinations. Simultaneously, the project provided welding process instructions, safety technology instructions, and examination standard instructions to the welders. Professional personnel were organized to conduct visual quality inspection and internal non-destructive testing of the test plate welds, comprehensively evaluating the welders' technical level.

The examination tested the welders' practical skills and laid the foundation for the welding quality of various steel structures. Next, the project will arrange for qualified welders to carry out on-site welding operations to ensure the project's welding quality.
