Cui Yongzhi attended the opening ceremony of the Shangri-La to Lijiang Expressway.

On the morning of September 29, the opening ceremony for the entire line of the G0613 Shangri-La to Lijiang Expressway, a national expressway network project partly constructed by the Third Engineering Project Department, was held at the Xia Zhongdian service area of the Shangri-La to Lijiang Expressway. Cui Yongzhi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the company, attended the ceremony.

The Shangri-La to Lijiang Expressway is 125 kilometers long, and the Third Engineering Department undertook the construction of lighting, ventilation, and power supply and distribution projects for 26 tunnels, 6 toll plazas, 3 service areas, and 1 parking area along the entire line, as well as the landscape lighting project for the Tiger Leaping Gorge Jinsha River super-large bridge. As a main demonstration project of the "green highway," the Shangri-La to Lijiang Expressway incorporates the concept of green, circular, and low-carbon development into its construction through the use of new materials, new technologies, and new energy. The lighting project uses energy-efficient, long-lasting, and energy-saving LED lights to achieve energy conservation, emission reduction, and environmental protection.

The Jinsha River Bridge landscape lighting project was undertaken by the Third Engineering Department. The construction of the Jinsha River Bridge lighting project was challenging and technically demanding, requiring the installation of aviation obstruction lights at the top of the main tower, 153.3 meters above the ground; the installation of floodlights at the main cable and each sling clamp node; and the installation of guardrail lights on both sides of the bridge deck, 48.2 meters above the Jinsha River. The project department overcame the challenges of high-altitude operations and successfully completed the bridge and the entire line tunnel lighting work on time and efficiently.

After the opening of the entire line, the travel time from Lijiang to Shangri-La will be reduced from the original 4 hours to 1.5 hours, more than halving the travel time.

After the ceremony, Cui Yongzhi pointed out: "We must work with greater enthusiasm and a more rigorous work style, carry forward the spirit of the plateau iron army, do a good job in every project, and do every job meticulously and thoroughly, delivering a satisfactory answer to the owner and the company."
