On the morning of August 6, the launch ceremony for the 2021 key project labor competition in Yunnan Province was held in Kunming. Awards were presented for the "May 1st Labor Award," "Worker Vanguard," and "Advanced Individual" in the 2020 Yunnan Provincial Labor Competition. The Eleventh Bidding Section of the Baoshan Central City Underground Integrated Pipe Gallery Construction Project, under the Ninth Engineering Project Department of the company, received the "Worker Vanguard" award for the Yunnan Provincial Key Project Labor Competition. Gan Yong, member of the company's Party Committee and chairman of the trade union, attended the event and accepted the award on behalf of the company.

The Baoshan Integrated Pipe Gallery Project is located in Longyang District, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province. It includes the construction of 19 trunk and branch underground integrated pipe galleries totaling 86.23 kilometers and 3 monitoring centers. It is one of the group's key projects. The Eleventh Bidding Section of the company's Baoshan Central City Underground Integrated Pipe Gallery Construction Project is responsible for the construction of 7.74 kilometers of the East Ring Road pipe gallery (the only four-chamber gallery among the 19 galleries), 2.3 kilometers of the Qingbao Road pipe gallery, and 1.36 kilometers of the Lancheng Road pipe gallery.


Based on actual production, the project department formulated a competition implementation plan themed on promoting the team spirit of "surpassing development, striving for excellence, learning from each other, and striving for the best." This fostered a strong atmosphere of "learning from each other and striving for the best."
The project department used the group's "Four Guarantees, One Control, and One Cultivation" as a lever and the "Seven Comparisons, One Creation, One Cultivation, and One Control" as its goal. First, it established and improved engineering quality assurance measures, comprehensively strengthened quality management and risk control, and continuously improved the excellent rate of project construction. Second, according to the schedule plan, the construction tasks were detailedly decomposed and implemented step by step, ensuring the smooth completion of the production plan every month. Third, adhering to the principle of "safety first, prevention first, and comprehensive management," it strengthened the intensity of construction safety control and occupational health management. Through organizing "Ankang Cup" competition activities, safety knowledge training and warning education, and implementing safety and technical briefings, a good safety production environment was established, improving safety management level and the safety awareness of all staff, and achieving zero accidents throughout the construction process. Fourth, it earnestly carried out the construction of a "standardized construction site," standardized operational behavior, and effectively carried out civilized construction, ensuring smooth construction roads, orderly material stacking, complete signs, and an orderly construction site, achieving standardized, orderly, safe, and civilized on-site management. Sixth, during construction, the project department increased safety investment and actively innovated technology, introducing "MagiCAD for Revit Software V2018, Support and Hanger Auxiliary Design Platform V2018, Guanglian BIM Construction Site Layout Software V7.5, Guanglian BIM Template Scaffolding Design Software V2.5," "Guanglian Zebra Network Planning Control Version Software V2.6," and "Guanglian BIM 5D Project Version System V4.0." The project relied on BIM technology for project technology, drawing issues, material statistics, clear nodes, and capital flow, improving project control level.
In response to the actual situation of the project, the project department innovated its work methods, summarized construction experience, strengthened on-site coordination, and optimized resource allocation, promoting the safe, high-quality, and rapid advancement of various work surfaces, which was well received by the owner.
