Carrying Forward the Red Gene: The Jin Structure Processing Center Youth League Branch Holds a Themed Youth League Day Activity: "Exploring the Red Footprints, Inheriting the Red Culture"

On May 5th, the Communist Youth League branch of the Metal Structure Processing Center organized all Party members and League members of the Xiangli Expressway project department to visit the Xionggu Red Army Wan Sui Monument in Lijiang City to carry out a themed group activity of "Exploring the Red Footprints and Inheriting the Red Culture" combining Party building with League building.

In front of the Red Army Wan Sui Monument, everyone stopped to read the inscription and recalled those red memories. On April 25, 1936, after the Second and Sixth Red Army Corps of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army converged in Xionggu, they were welcomed by the local people. During the period when the Red Army converged, rested, and replenished supplies in Xionggu, they left a deep impression on the local people. The story of the army loving the people and the people supporting the army, and the deep affection between the army and the people, has become a legend passed down to this day.

This themed group activity was both a visit and study, and a baptism of the red spirit. Although we have not experienced the ravages of war, in this activity, everyone deeply felt the hardships of the Chinese revolutionary struggle. Especially after personally experiencing the climate and terrain of the high-altitude region, we can better understand the hardships faced by the Red Army at that time, who crossed 26 snow-capped mountains without any mountaineering equipment, suffering from hunger and cold, wearing straw sandals or even barefoot. We also understand better the hard-won achievements of the Chinese revolutionary regime and the greatness of the Communist Party of China.

Everyone expressed their determination to strive to be qualified Communist Party members and Communist Youth League members, cherish the hard-won happy life today, and work hard to enhance the cohesion, centripetal force, and combat effectiveness in undertaking and starting a business, striving to be the best in their work, and offering gifts to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party with practical actions and excellent achievements.
