Wang Xiaofang delivers a special lecture on Party history learning and education

On the afternoon of April 25, Wang Xiaofang, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company, gave a special lecture on Party history learning and education entitled "Learning Party History and Forging Ahead Along the Path of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as Charted by General Secretary Xi Jinping."

Wang Xiaofang listed more than 20 classic books, including "On the History of the Communist Party of China," "A Brief History of the Communist Party of China," "The Communist Manifesto," "Selected Works of Mao Zedong," Ai Siqi's "Mass Philosophy," and Liu Shaoqi's "On the Cultivating of Communist Party Members," selecting excerpts from some books and leading more than 300 trainees in a collective study of the glorious course of our Party's struggle in uniting and leading the Chinese people, the great contributions the Party has made to the Chinese nation, and gaining insights into the truth and practical power of Marxism, deepening understanding of the theoretical qualities of Marxism with Chinese characteristics that are both consistent and constantly evolving. By reviewing the outstanding deeds of the representatives of the First National Congress of the CPC, the heroic deeds of outstanding figures who represented the most advanced cultural and ideological thoughts in China at the time of the founding of the Communist Party of China were reviewed.

Wang Xiaofang emphasized the importance of reading for all staff, especially for young people to strengthen their learning and the benefits of reading. He said that the history of the Party is the most vivid and persuasive textbook. We must persist in integrating the study and understanding of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era with the study of the basic principles of Marxism, and combine it with the study of the history of the Party, the history of New China, the history of reform and opening up, and the history of socialist development, so as to know history, love the Party, and love the country. We should strengthen our ideals and beliefs through learning and understanding, and practice our original aspirations and missions through hard work. We should adhere to reading the original works, studying the original texts, and understanding the principles, correctly understanding the ins and outs of the Party's and the country's undertakings, drawing lessons from the historical experiences of the Party and the country, understanding the major events, important meetings, and important figures in the history of the Party and the country, and achieving the goals of understanding principles through history, strengthening belief through history, cultivating morality through history, and acting effectively through history.

Before the lecture, the trainees watched the large-scale music and dance epic "The East Is Red." They reviewed the arduous revolutionary struggle history of the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China against imperialism, feudalism, and bureaucratism after the founding of the Communist Party of China.

Cadres and employees from the Group's Sixth Party Branch, Human Resources Department, Safety Supervision and Management Department, Second Safety Division, Third Safety Division, Steel Structure Company, Fourteenth Company, and Mining Company attended the lecture.
