The Group's Discipline Inspection Commission held its 2021 Discipline Inspection, Supervision, and Anti-Corruption Work Conference

On the afternoon of March 16, the Group's Discipline Inspection Commission held the 2021 Discipline Inspection, Supervision, and Anti-Corruption Work Conference. Zhang Peng, Secretary of the Group's Discipline Inspection Commission and Commissioner of the Provincial Supervisory Commission stationed at the Group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The meeting deeply studied and implemented the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, especially the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping, and the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Tenth Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection. It comprehensively summarized and reviewed the Group's discipline inspection and supervision work in 2020 and arranged and deployed the work for 2021. The meeting reported on the situation of letters and visits, supervision, discipline, and accountability work in 2020 in the Group's affiliated units, and presented a report card with more than 10 items of assessment data.

Zhang Peng delivered a special speech entitled "Bearing in Mind the Mission and Responsibility, Loyally Performing Duties, and Providing Strong Guarantees for the Group to Create a New Situation of High-Quality Development." He comprehensively summarized the achievements of the Group's discipline inspection and supervision work in 2020 in political supervision, daily supervision, inspection and supervision, warning education, and team building, focusing on "six focuses" and "six unifications." He also analyzed the situation and outstanding problems of the Group's anti-corruption work based on the data of letters and visits and supervision, discipline, and accountability in recent years.

Zhang Peng emphasized that all units should maintain a clear mind, accurately grasp the situation and problems of the Group's discipline inspection, supervision, and anti-corruption work; they should adhere to political determination and unswervingly promote the in-depth development of full and strict governance of the Party.

First, strengthen political supervision and resolutely implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the Provincial Committee. We must unify our thoughts and actions with the decisions and deployments of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, highlight ideological and political guidance, and transform the learning achievements into ideological consciousness and practical actions to strengthen ideals and beliefs, temper Party spirit, and loyally perform duties.

Second, improve the supervision system and comprehensively improve governance effectiveness. We must focus on key areas and prominent problems of the Group to carry out special supervision, deepen the implementation of the working mechanism for coordinating and contacting the members of the Group's Discipline Inspection Commission and the staff of the Discipline Inspection Commission, grasp the situation of clue handling and daily work of the discipline inspection commissions of various units through the semi-monthly reporting mechanism, and guide and urge the discipline inspection commissions of various units to perform their duties conscientiously.

Third, deepen supervision and inspection, build a linkage pattern, and improve overall effectiveness.
