Group cadre assessment team 8 conducted a comprehensive assessment of the company in 2020

On the morning of February 20, Li Zhicheng, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company and Group Cadre Assessment Group 8 leader, and Zhang Lianhong, Deputy Leader, Party Secretary, and Vice Chairman of Yunnan Railway Group, led the assessment team to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the company's 2020 performance. The assessment included a comprehensive evaluation of the company's leadership team and its members' 2020 work, as well as assessments of the company's 2020 Party style and integrity construction, ideology, selection and appointment of personnel, probationary period completion of cadres, and confidentiality work. A total of 57 people attended the assessment meeting, including the company's leadership team (expanded), heads of various functional departments, main leaders of various grassroots units, and some employee representatives. The meeting was chaired by Gu Yongmao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company.

Li Zhicheng delivered a mobilization speech, emphasizing the following: First, enhance understanding and fully recognize the importance of conducting comprehensive assessments, further strengthening the sense of responsibility and mission in carrying out assessment work, and implementing the decisions and deployments of the Group's Party committee. Second, clarify the key points, grasp the main content, methods, and procedures of the assessment work, act impartially, exercise power correctly, and objectively and fairly evaluate cadres. Third, on behalf of the assessment team, she stated that the assessment team will maintain strict work discipline, adhere to principles, be true to facts, be fair and just, conduct the assessment work seriously, meticulously review relevant materials, accurately grasp the situation, and comprehensively analyze problems.

At the meeting, Gu Yongmao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, made a special report on the implementation of the Party style and integrity construction responsibility system in 2020 on behalf of the company's Party committee and delivered a personal accountability and integrity report. Cui Yongzhi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and General Manager of the company, and Sun Jinyao, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee, also delivered accountability and integrity reports. Other members of the leadership team submitted their 2020 personal accountability and integrity reports in writing to the assessment team.

Subsequently, participants conducted democratic assessments of the company's leadership team and its members in 2020 through anonymous voting. This included democratic assessments of the leadership team's implementation of the Party style and integrity construction responsibility system in 2020 and the accountability and integrity of leading personnel, as well as democratic appraisals of the company's selection and appointment of personnel and newly promoted cadres in 2020.

After the assessment meeting, the assessment team conducted assessment interviews with members of the company's leadership team, some middle-level cadres, and employee representatives. They also reviewed the company's 2020 materials and accounts on Party style and integrity construction, ideology, selection and appointment of personnel, and confidentiality work.
