120 Days of Great War | Qigongbu Vietnam Marubeni Packaging Paper Project Successfully Starts Paper Production

　　On the evening of November 2, 2020, at 6:36 PM, the Vietnam Marubeni Packaging Paper Project, undertaken by the Seventh Engineering Project Department, successfully completed its trial production and paper output.

　　The Vietnam Marubeni Packaging Paper Project is located in the Phu My III Industrial Park, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Vietnam. The owner is Marubeni Corporation of Japan. The project department mainly undertakes the installation of pipelines and pipe racks in the papermaking workshop and pulp preparation workshop. The pipeline installation volume is more than 150,000 inches, and the pipe rack fabrication and installation is more than 200 tons. The contract amount is 10.32 million yuan (pure installation fee). Through the continuous efforts of the project department, the project successfully completed its trial production and paper output on the evening of November 2 at 6:36 PM. The paper machine produces high-strength kraft linerboard with a designed basis weight of 150 gsm, an annual output of 950 tons/day (winding speed 662 m/min, 150 gsm basis weight, width 6670 mm), a winding width of 6670 mm, and a rewinding width of 6600 mm.

　　Since the commencement of construction on October 1, 2019, the project department has consistently adhered to the principle of "guaranteeing quality through craftsmanship and ensuring safety through quality" throughout the construction process. Safety and technical briefings were provided to management personnel and on-site workers on time, and regular quality analysis meetings were held to exchange and feedback on any issues, ensuring that each technician could proficiently grasp the key points of construction control. At the same time, overcoming numerous difficulties such as the impact of the epidemic and high-temperature construction, the project achieved breakthroughs in stages, ultimately completing the construction tasks according to the established plan. The Vietnam Marubeni project department has demonstrated the spirit of the "highland iron army"—the ability to endure hardship, fight bravely, dedicate themselves, and win tough battles—earning consistent praise from the client.
