Catching Up and Surpassing | A project of 10,000 expressways by the Ministry of Industry wins the "9.30" Labor Competition Award

　　Recently, the "9.30" Labor Competition Leading Group of the Wanwan Expressway project awarded certificates of merit to outstanding individuals and teams from various work areas. Li Chenghai and Yan Xin from the Wanwan Expressway Traffic Safety No. 1 Work Area of the First Engineering Project Department won the title of "Advanced Individual," and the Corrugated Guardrail Team won the title of "Advanced Collective."

　　The "9.30" Labor Competition is based on the requirements of the Group's "Four Guarantees, One Tree, and One Control" and the actual construction of the Laos Wanwan Expressway project. It focuses on "guaranteeing deadlines, quality, safety, integrity, controlling costs, and building a strong image." The competition aims to fully stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of all participants, carry forward the spirit of the plateau iron army, ensure the successful completion of the "9.30" node tasks of the Laos Wanwan Expressway project, showcase the excellent quality and image of Yunnan Construction Investment, and contribute to the Group's "going global" strategy.

　　The labor competition coincided with the rainy season in Laos, limiting effective working time. With tight deadlines and heavy tasks, the project's employees did not slacken their efforts due to the harsh weather. They took completing the node goals as their responsibility: They continued working in the rain wearing raincoats; they encouraged each other on their way home in the early morning, ready to work overtime again the next day; and they persevered through difficulties…

　　This award reflects the general contractor project management department's affirmation and recognition of the efforts of the Wanwan Expressway Traffic Safety No. 1 Work Area.
